| I just found out what St. Valentine did yesterday, that makes it twenty years of complete obliviousness to what the holiday is really about. Being single on Valentines day is great, it's one of the best days to celebrate your freedom and mess with your friends who are spending all their money on their significant other. My friends and I determined that valentine's day is only really bad if you're not sure if you're in a relationship, but if you're single or definately in a relationship then it's not too bad. But I'm definately going with single being better cause there's no worries on under/over doing valentine's day and basically we're gonna have a party to celebrate a day of relaxation, that's the way to celebrate Valentines day. | |||

| yes, just getting into a relationship around Vday makes things hard. Luckily me and my girl have been dating for almost 10 months now so going over board isn't too much of a worry, but I know a couple of people who just started dating a few days or weeks ago and they are so nervous as to what to do, it's hilarious.
I find it funny that even though Vday is commercialized like every other holiday in existence, the best gifts are those that aren't bought, like me giving my girl my sweater or writing her a poem. I didn't do much today. They handed out roses at school, which is always annoying because girls fight over them if the cards that *should* be attached have fallen off. It's a mess. "MY BOYFRIEND SAID HE WOULD GET ME ONE, IT'S FOR ME" and I'm like " "

| Valentine's Day, hmm. I basically sat in my classes watching others get handed valentine cards and one person got roses even. I sit there wondering where the heck is my love(still don't have one). It basically sucks for me, just sitting here thinking, still single, all 15 years of my life. The only thing I do, just talk to my friends. Glad to see others are having a good day. | |||

Plus the gay jokes didn't help(I am straight, it's my stupid friends... note to self, get new friends). Then I go to my last period, which nothing too special, more crap. By the end of the day, didn't get a SINGLE VALENTINE OR ANYTHING!! I'M IN PAIN AND HAVE SO MUCH CRAP TO DEAL WITH!!! Maybe I'm just not meant for love.  |

| So apparantly I have four secret admirers. Go me.
Today was awesome. My boyfriend and I left school after 7th period and hung out around my house. It was very relaxed.. like we just vegged out and cuddled. I think that's better than going to dinner or something. Alot better. He got me chocolates... and we actually smoked. (Which led directly to watching VH1 classic's... hahah). This was honestly one of my favorite Valentine's days ever. [= hooraayy Danielle: yeah, they do the rose thing at my school too. Girls fight too... cause they're stupid. Someone gave one to my teacher.. it was hysterical.. it was to a male teacher from my friend dave.. and my teacher just went "Awe... how sweet"... in a sarcastic tone. I dunno, it's funny if you were there. Maybe. |

I was talking to one of my friends, she mentioned that never had any Valentines gifts that were just for her (by that she meant she got Vday cards in her 1st-5th grade classes, those standard "give one to everyone" cards). I tried to surprise her by putting a Vday card in her backpack, writing a few compliments in it, and signing it "Your secret admirer." Of course she knew it was me (know matter how hard I tried to keep it secret  ). I bought her some Gummi Worms and we talked for a while. We're good friends, not dating. (But I'm getting closer... ) |

| I don't believe in celebrating We spent the day together, though, and had a nice time. We ent to watch Casanova at the movies, as well. She wanted to see it, I wanted to watch the curling game on TV. Considering how we played, it was just as well that she got her will.
