Clearly, you must have a bitchin' Camaro. (ducks)

It's kind of hard to find anywhere you can speed to that extent in CT, no, ||bass?
Yea, Conntcticut doesn't tend to have straignt enough roads to permit too much speeding. They always build roads AROUND nature. Totally different from when I used to live in New Jersey. In Jersey, when nature blocks the road, nature gets C4'd, the road is STRAIGHT.

G'aaahh...hated driving through CT...I-84's always crowded as ^$#@...'specially on the day after Thanksgiving....

If I may ask, which road did you pull this off on? since the main route's definitely not the one.

Oh, I also decided to be a retard and take our Saturn out for a spin when my parents were gone for the summer. I kind of went to the dirt roads (I love speeding on dirt road) and spun out hardcore. Well, my mirror hit a wooden plank and then the plank knocked something over...which crushed the mailbox (one of those large external compartmentalized ones) to the area. Somehow, my mirror took NO damage and the car was completely scratch free. I drove off feeling like an A-Team member.

I did this on the Turnpike South in New Jersey at 3:45am.

I went at least 150mph and luckily didn't get caught nor did I crash. I almost ran off the road though.

I was really tired, trying to get back home from Seguin. The road was looooooong and there was nothing but flat plains. There were hardly any cars on the road. I was half asleep on the wheel and the fast bumping sound woke me up. I looked at the speedometer and I was pegging past the 150 mark. With almost nothing outside to compare yourself with, it's hard to tell.

The Suzuki Hayabusa can do 300+ MPH stock. I am looking at a Honda CBR 600 F4i or RR.

Which will reach around 280 MPH.

3:45am explains a bunch....
And, I don't think that enough organs would be be in reasonable shape after a net 300mph impact for donation. Two vehicles at 150mph in a head-on...yeah.
I didn't think there were any cars legal for street use that could hit 300...might be wrong...wouldn't be the first time.

Hmm, I dunno if Bugatti Veyron is legal for street use but that car can break the 250mph barrier.

Damn fast.

That is the fastest legal crotch rocket I should say. It is legal in America, search Google Video for some hayabusa turbo bikes and watch them smoke other crotch rockets.

There is one with a Toyota Supra Twin Turbo (dream car) that beats the hayabusa but still.... Fast bike.

Anyone who would attempt a stopie at 150+ is just retarded. But the people are out there that will try it...

To be honest, I'm not a modern sports bikeman. I just prefer the groovey stylings of old 50s bikes and earlier sports/courier bikes. The Indian motorcycle = awesome. Also, the Russian military stylized bikes are ill.

If you tried to stop abruptly at that speed you'd lose control, flip over dozens of times, break all your bones and possibly die. If you're lucky, you'll be in a wheelchair the rest of your life.

50mph, but only while learning. I still haven't finished my lessons yet. The fastest I've been before is 100mph with my friend in a Rover Metro down the A329M in Reading. Two months later he crashed and wrote off his car and the TVR he crashed into, while driving on the same road.

In a wheelchair...? No way. That'd be fatal. *Maybe* if the the person was wearing a full suit of plate armour...maybe they'd live. The armour'd be ruined either way, that's for sure....

Isn't it kilometers? Or... not?

And I've only driven a car once. And I almost crashed into a sign doing a nice steady 3 miles an hour. Crazy shit.

I'm almost 17 and I'm stupid for not taking drivers ed. Now I have to wait until I'm 18 to take it... or take it in the summer, which I'll probably do.

I have NY laws. Everyone else drives at 16.. pretty much.

My first time driving, I thought the steering wheel turned the wheels at 1:1. Nope...about 3:1. Quickly followed that up with m' second mistake: stepping on the brake with m' left foot.
