G'aaahh...hated driving through CT...I-84's always crowded as ^$#@...'specially on the day after Thanksgiving....
If I may ask, which road did you pull this off on? since the main route's definitely not the one. |

Oh, I also decided to be a retard and take our Saturn out for a spin when my parents were gone for the summer. I kind of went to the dirt roads (I love speeding on dirt road) and spun out hardcore. Well, my mirror hit a wooden plank and then the plank knocked something over...which crushed the mailbox (one of those large external compartmentalized ones) to the area. Somehow, my mirror took NO damage and the car was completely scratch free. I drove off feeling like an A-Team member.

I went at least 150mph and luckily didn't get caught nor did I crash. I almost ran off the road though.
I was really tired, trying to get back home from Seguin. The road was looooooong and there was nothing but flat plains. There were hardly any cars on the road. I was half asleep on the wheel and the fast bumping sound woke me up. I looked at the speedometer and I was pegging past the 150 mark. With almost nothing outside to compare yourself with, it's hard to tell. |

3:45am explains a bunch....
And, I don't think that enough organs would be be in reasonable shape after a net 300mph impact for donation. Two vehicles at 150mph in a head-on...yeah. I didn't think there were any cars legal for street use that could hit 300...might be wrong...wouldn't be the first time. (edited by Steak on 02-13-06 11:27 AM) |

Hmm, I dunno if Bugatti Veyron is legal for street use but that car can break the 250mph barrier.
Damn fast. |

But the people are out there that will try it... |

To be honest, I'm not a modern sports bikeman. I just prefer the groovey stylings of old 50s bikes and earlier sports/courier bikes. The Indian motorcycle = awesome. Also, the Russian military stylized bikes are ill.

50mph, but only while learning. I still haven't finished my lessons yet. The fastest I've been before is 100mph with my friend in a Rover Metro down the A329M in Reading. Two months later he crashed and wrote off his car and the TVR he crashed into, while driving on the same road.

Isn't it kilometers? Or... not?
And I've only driven a car once. And I almost crashed into a sign doing a nice steady 3 miles an hour. Crazy shit. I'm almost 17 and I'm stupid for not taking drivers ed. Now I have to wait until I'm 18 to take it... or take it in the summer, which I'll probably do. I have NY laws. Everyone else drives at 16.. pretty much. |

My first time driving, I thought the steering wheel turned the wheels at 1:1. Nope...about 3:1. Quickly followed that up with m' second mistake: stepping on the brake with m' left foot. |
