I want to sing a song on the pc, but i need a program the record it. Does anyone know of any good ones. I also want to put music in the background. If u need to know more just ask.

If you have a microphone, then Sound Recorder is pretty much the only thing you need. Just hit Record and start singing. Note that it only records up to 60 seconds at first, but you can counter that by recording a while, then using "decrease speed" several times. | |||

Audacity.
It's free, its a small download, and its full of effects and editing tools. Also has VST plugins. You can record and layer multiple tracks, and theres an equalizer. Oh, and its easy to use too.
