Hah, if I were told that only a single person here is on the same page as I am regarding relationships, I would've guessed it would be you .

What really disgusts me the most is the lack of any guilt whatsoever when people commit acts that are flagrantly unacceptable. One girl frequently gets upset that things are not working out with her boyfriend at home, but she's been with at least two guys (that I'm aware of) at school. And then she freaks out when she gets the feeling that her boyfriend at home is cheating as well. Another girl has actually transferred to a different school so that she can be with her boyfriend, even though she's been with a number of guys in his absence. And they are in a declared monogamous relationship.

Most revolting of all is my roommate - a guy that I'm really fond of, but with whom I share absolutely no sense of values - who is also involved with a girl back home (in Texas, mind you, while we're attending school in New York state). He's had a number of sexual partners while he's been here in the Northeast and, not only does he hide them from his girl in Texas, but he keeps them unaware of each other. Even though he's with all of them at the same time. And then he gets upset when he catches wind of his girlfriend's cheating back home.

Honestly, it feels inescapable. It feels like everyone's doing it. My other roommate's girl - not his formal girlfriend, though they are close enough that she could be considered off limits - tried to get with me one night at a bar. My roommate wasn't there because he is getting over mono and isn't allowed to drink yet, and I was there just to make sure everyone got home safely (because I don't drink at all). She tried to convince me to hook up with her, thinking it would be alright because "he wouldn't have to find out about it."

And who the hell voted 61+... yikes your either old as hell or wicked horny, and like I've always said. Horny people don't make horny kids, they make horny diseases....

hmmmmm.....

It's tough for me to define relationships, sometimes.
Kaitee and Christi definately qualify, as does my current significant other of one year, Ellinore.

Caitlin, we weren't really together long enough to qualify as a couple. It was more of a half-assed fling, really.
Vanessa I was with for quite a while, but I consider that less of a relationship and more of a horrible mistake.
Jessica and I felt very deeply for eachother, but we were never officially together, so she doesn't really count.

So I guess, disregarding Caitlin and Jessica, that's 3-4.

And in case some of you may not be able to tell from all the feminine names, I like girls.

This drives me crazy as well. I'm in high school, HIGH SCHOOL, and I see this everywhere. Guys cybering with girls online, dating a couple girls of all ages from different schools, while involved with a girl at my school... and they boast about it to their friends. Girls do the same thing. Where are people's morals? What happened to loyalty and respect in a relationship? It's horrible. It scares the crap out of me, too.
Bah. I wish people could think before they act.

Heh, I didn't know it was so rampant.

For those people that play around like that, they probably won't be able to land in a meaningful relationship in the end and end up divorcing several times. Those people can do it because they can get away with it, which is why it happens. That is sort of one reason why I can't really trust just anyone and it is so hard to find someone who is "right"

Um. I'm 16. My first boyfriend was Sal in the 4th grade for like a month. I went out with John from 5th grade until the beginning of my freshman year, he ended up cheating on me and whatever. Went out with Greg throughout my whole freshman year into the beginning of sophomore year.. and he was cheating on me the whole time. One of the times when John went out with me, I went out with this boy matt for like 5 days in the 7th grade. My first kiss was with a boy on the back of a schoolbus in the 8th grade, named Anthony, and we went out for two weeks.. when I found out that John was cheating on me, before I went back out with him . Then there was Alex for two months when I transferred schools after I broke up with Greg. And now this whole last year I've been in a long-distance relationship with Austin.

So that's um.. 7.

And I don't plan on any more.

I'm 16 and I think I have way too many.

I HATE staying single. As soon as a relationship ends, I kinda try and move on as fast as I can to get over the last one

So far this year ive had 9 girlfriends. my last relationship ended on the 19th, and after a gig on the 21st I was in another with my current gf, lucy.

its crazy.

edit- just remembered. Ive had quite a few 'unofficial' relationships too.

I just turned 18, I started dating when I was 15 (that doesn't mean I didn't ever do anything with a girl until then. lol). I have been single for almost 2 months now and I've had 4 girlfriends altogether.

2...

One which lasted about a month and a half, with a cute blonde girl, who had chubby cheeks. I kissed her, and then after that she refused to kiss me, and a month or so later she dumps me. Gave me the impression that I sucked at kissing.

Second, who I am still with right now, is with a lovely brunette, and is going grand. At least in my point of view it is, who knows what she thinks. She's told me she wants to marry me someday in the future, so I'll take her word because I trust her. What else could I say about her, she's about 5' 7", 135 lbs (not too skinny, my kinda girl), and only 'comes' when she's on top. Oh, and I kiss the shit out of her... in more then one place.

I had a long distance with a guy for a year and a few months and that didn't work out. That relationship was Sophmore into Junior year and suprisingly, junior year was my worst year of high school. When I got to Senior year I had the best time but I didn't have any boyfriends. I had crushes throughout high school but never dated them.

My mom got mad at me during the early part of my teenage years because I wasn't really dating and I was staying with one guy throughout my entire middle and high school life (which she liked as well, but that's not the topic here). I didn't feel like I had to go out and get with every guy that I liked, had crush on, or whatever the case could have been. I had other things to worry about anyway and I don't see what the big deal is about dating a lot when you're that young. But everyone is different.

Wow, all the partners that some people have had on here at such a young age - makes me feel positively chaste.

I suppose it was because I was so uncool in school - few members of the opposite sex wanted to get to know me, although they have admitted since (all married BTW), that they found me "cute".

I've given up on youth.

I was working at EB and this kid came in to buy a game- ESPN Basketball. OK, cool. He was barely taller than the racks, so I'd say he was about 12 or 13. I ring the game up, and he makes to pull out his EDGE discount card, which saves 10% on used games. OK, cool. He pulls out the card, and accidentally gets a condom out of his wallet with it, and unabashedly puts the condom back in, handing me the card.

WTF. This kid was like 13.

I have at least 3 during my junior high school and 4 during high school. I've never actulally dated these ladies but some are mean. About when I was a Senior I caught my best friend Roberto Rodridgez cheated on me. GOSH! He had to lay out on me with my girlfriend. For now girls are no longer interested right now but I rathert stay as being a unmarried person. Girls are now become a threat to me. I can't believe that girl had to replace me with Roberto. It's just sick.

You're 13. Why the rush? You have a whole lot of time before you really have to start to worry about this.

Zero.

I'm almost 19, a freshman in college.

I've never held a girl's hand, hugged in a romantic manner, and certainly never kissed.

But that's not to say I haven't tried. Because believe me, I have.
I seem to know nothing about the 'rules' concerning pre-dating. I think maybe it's because somehow, I know how to be a good boyfriend--just have never gotten the chance. So I know the dating rules, but not the pre-dating ones.

I had two girls in high school I liked. Both of them turned out to not be who I thought they were, entirely, and that was because I tried to rush into a relationship too soon.

Well, no, that was the 2nd one. The 1st one was actually a best friend of mine who was simply, well, a slut when it came to dating.

There's one girl I like in college right now, but Lord knows how that one will work out. Everyone knows I like her--except her, I hope. I don't wanna rush this one, for sure. She's special.

Concerning Anya's mom...she sounds scary. She was mad at yuou because you weren't dating every guy in sight? That sounds a bit...loony. And un-parent-like, I guess. I mean, parents have a reputation of wanting their kids to do, ya know, responsible things. At least, that's what I thought.

But with 13 year-olds carrying around condoms, I begin to question parents these days.

Andres, I'm 6 years older than you, and I've never had a girlfriend--just two broken hearts. And I've got all my eggs in one basket yet again. I'm practically setting myself up for heartbreak.
So don't sweat. You've got plenty of time ahead of you. Kids these days are just being weird and rushing into dating too soon because it's, I dunno, culturally acceptable.
And we wonder why divorce rate is so high? It's because people don't get to really know, understand, and love each other before they rush into doing stupid things.

Holy shit. Same exact thing going on here. One girl thinks I'm a nice guy but she like the Noah's Ark for STDs.

The other I rushed and now she became freaked out by my presence. It's better now but when I'm around she keeps one eye open just in case.
