What's a good way to copy my 60GB ntfs hard disk partition to a 120GB USB hard drive?

#1) first, if you can take the HD out of the USB casing and put it into your computer, then do. Transferring over USB is horrendously slow compared to a HD in your computer.

#2) Partition magic is a good software to do that. I believe there are other free ones out there however... someone is bound to recommend you a free one

1. You can always copy files just as they are... if you don't care about booting
2. What neo's point #1 was
3. Use ntfsclone. Unlike what neo said, I find PartitionMagic to be a horrible, buggy product that's totally not worth any amount of money.
