I was wondering if it's still completely impossible, or still unfeasibly hard, to change what Pokemon is used in the Birch battle in Ru/Sa/Em?
Thanks, -Supakitsune |

Erm, unless it's a video, I should imagine it to be very easy to change.

Yes, people have just been too lazy to find the byte xD
I'd do it myself but I'm busy with some other stuff. Sorry D: |

That isn't it at all. The battle is hardcoded. There's no finding a byte, because there's a bit more to it than that. Try not to mislead people, okay guys?

Oh, well... Guess there's no escaping the hard-coded... =/
Well, I'd like to ask some other questions before this thread is closed... Does anyone know the offset where the pallete for Rayquaza in Emerald version's title screen is located? Also, does anyone know what command I should use in Rubikon in place of wildbattle for Emerald Version (as in, #raw xx), if any, as wildbattle doesn't work correctly in Emerald version? Thank you. - Supakitsune |

You can find the palette pointer around all the other pointers to the title screen data. The palettes are compressed in the same format as everything else, lz77 - the bios function of the gba.
