This thread makes me want to hurt myself...

But to play along... try leaving a bag of Reese's Pieces inside a bag of Twizzler's Pull'n'Peel (cherry) and refrigerate them for about a week. Take it back out, open it up and you got nice, cold cherry Reese's Pieces. Tastes awesome.

Note to self: delete Sonicandtails post

I'll have to try that trick. Though the ... what are they, twizzlers nips? that are just little chunks of twizzlers that are really good.

Which reminds me... for a while, any reese's pieces I had tasted like fruit. Nothing I did though... I was convinced that they were making them differently, haha. Maybe they took up your idea, CJ.

It was probably the store you got them from, Danielle. Perhaps something along the lines of that happened while they were in storage, but it's unlikely. And Cruel Justice, I have to try that myself once the opportunity presents itself. I wonder if you get cotton-candy/bubble gum flavored ones if you do it with pink jellybeans.

...That's probably right. Good thinking asdf.

Man it was disgusting. It ruined reese's and I didn't know that was possible.

Canada beat America to the punch there, actually...

Oh, and it is a good chocolate bar. Not great or anything but considering I can get them at $1 for 2... not bad at all.

Yeah, America sorta sucks with candy. There's an all british food store nearby, and they have European candy there. Aeros and Crunchies and Cadbury... soooo much better than American candy. I have to make sure I don't go there a lot or I'd gain weight really fast.

I've tried those before, Colin. I can't remember how it was, despite having only tried it less than a month ago. However, I do remember liking it a lot. Personally, I prefer M&Ms over Smarties, though. They taste slightly better, but I don't know why. It's one of those things that you can't explain in words, which is ironic because your mouth itself (well, the tongue, but...) determines how good each one is.

We have Aeros and Crunchies and Dairy Milk and EVERYTHING like that.

Cadbury must still think that the Commonwealth's important because they're very, very good to us. The other companies are too... Peppermint Aeros... *drools*

Plus Mini Eggs and Creme Eggs are already on shelves in time (give or take a few months) for Easter.

Oh yeah, those things. Best damn candy ever. It's a shame that they had to go and attribute them to a holiday. It makes the wait worth it, but...it's not right to do such a thing to a great candy like that.

I think they sell some Mini Eggs around either Halloween or Christmas. It's not a given but it sometimes happens. Still, with the different colors... they're just not the same.

Creme Eggs, on the other hand, still are out within a 4-month window, and they keep well in the fridge.

Oooh yeah, I've tried those at that store too.
Amazing.
Why can't American candy be like that?

My mom always gets me those at Easter, as well as Aeros and stuff. It's like Easter was a European holiday with the candy I get. I love it.

Yeah, both Creme and Mini Eggs kick ass. Same with those 3 pack chocolate bunnies, I hope someone knows what I'm talking about there. Why is easter-oriented candy so good anyway?

Peeps aren't really a big deal in Canada. :\ I mean, you can find them around and they're not bad but we only get the most basic Peeps. You guys get like 3932 different varieties of them come Easter.

Reeses' are overrated. If I want peanut butter I'll go make a sandwich.

Now Zeros, those are good candy.

Translation (wiki):

Dime Bar is a crunchy caramel candy bar covered in chocolate that originated in Norway in the late 19th Century. First produced by the Norwegian chocolate company Freia. Due to its success Freia bought the Swedish chocolate comany Marabou and moved the production to Sweden. The brand is produced by Kraft Foods. The Daim, Dajm, or Dime bars are very popular in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. It is comparable to the American Skor or Heath brands.

If it's like Skor... eh. Not a big fan of Skor bars by themselves.
