This is a little something, a character concept per se, that I came up with some time ago for the science-fiction themed Dawg series of novels I am writing. I drew this freehand with pencil and paper, scanned it, and touched it up and colored it in MS Paint. Click below to view. Forgive me for not being the greatest of artists...
Dawg This piloted-from-the-inside monstrosity was built by a human-like and technologically savvy race of beings from the destroyed planet Verteria as a means to survive and defend themselves on Earth. Lest you wonder, that is a tomato firing from Dawg's side cannon. ![]() ![]() This machine quite oddly does not appear in Part 1: Genocis, the first of the four-book series, except as an early prototype in a rather minor role which sets the stage for events that take place in later books. (There is another Verterian character in the series nicknamed "Dawg".) The first book details the protagonists escape from their own planet and their actual journey to Earth, while the latter three books cover their adventures on the big blue marble and the machine they build in their defense. Anyhow, enjoy the eye candy. ![]() |

Nice perspective so far. It would be even nicer to see different angles. |
