(gameboy cart)
I have a game that has 15 games in one
The cart has some sonic looking animals on it (A chicken a Pig and A seal)
it has
Alley Way
Battle City
Dr. Mario
Karateka
Lode Runner
Motor Cycle
Othello
Penguin Land
Shanghai
Space Invaders
Super Mario (although its super mario land)
Tennis
Tetris
Trump Boy (some weird japanese game, one reason I suspect it to be a pirate)
Yakuman
So is this a pirate or was this game really released?

Yes, it was really released. It's called Gameboy Fifteen - in - one. They sold it a long time ago.

Shyguy, if you don't know what you're talking about then don't post please.

It's a pirate. 15 GB games sounds about right for a GB pirate, plus the cover makes no sense (as most pirates end up doing). As well, the games are all made by different companies, and I'd bet some games have copyrights removed.

I can only prove this on one account
Dr. Mario (I own)
And its on this cart.
I think the title screen looks slightly different, and there are a few blank TM's... plus why would a nintendo game have a fully japanese game on it?

If there's missing TM's, then that's a pirate for sure.

Trust me, nobody would legally release a collection of 15 games like that.

Heh heh, I always find the nonsensical covers for the pirate NES games hilarious. I heard Super Kart Fighters was a pretty good pirate-made game. These people actually have to be pretty good programmers to make these things, it's kind of impressive except when they're just poorly done ROM HACKS or several slapped-together Mario games.

My favorite would probably have to be "Pokemon Yellow" for the NES. Heh heh heh, Super Mario Bros. hack.

Finally being paid to code in VB! If only I still enjoyed that. <_<

It is kind of impressive that they made a pirate GB multicart, though. It's a lot harder than an NES cart, especially since those are like half-empty.

Now I need to get a copy to see what type of memory controller it uses.

Like the Super Mario World "for" NES? A pirate game that's pretty decent for what it's worth..

Hell I wonder if I'm allowed to link to it here. It's not licensed, nor does it even have a copyright notice on it

No it's not. It's complete ass.

I have yet to see a NES pirate game that doesn't suck monkey balls. And I've tried many. The only one that was almost respectable was Shin Samurai Spirits 2 - Haoumaru Jigoku Hen. But even it is just a sloppy, impossible to play Street Fighter-esque game.

Also... is it me? Or are the people who make the music for these pirate games completely tone deaf? They all sound horribly out of tune and make me want to jam ice picks in my ears.

Don't worry they make me want to jam ice picks in your ears also. Some of the music turns out pretty good but it is .01% possible.

I have one of them something like 100 in 1. 15 games really, the rest were the same games with differet names on the selection screen.

I have an 11 in 1 for the GB that a friend gave me, that's really just a 6 in 1. 5 of the games are repeats with slight name changes (Minesweeper and Bombsweeper? ), but are the same identical games. Ironicly enough, there's actualy a REALLY good Japanese platformer on it (GB Gen Jin 2, most would probably know it as part of the Bonk! series) that never made it over here, apparently. I'd never played it before and I'm actualy quite hooked on this game now. I guess pirates ARE good for something

Oh. And also to note is the fact that on the front of the game is a giant Pikachu. The game has nothing even remotly Pokemon related on it. Also upon disassembly of the cartridge hardware, I found that the inside is really a GBA cartridge board go pirates, way to use those GBA flashcards
