Ha ha. It's a damned awesome game and it merits discussion, despite its age.

So this is just a few simple questions...

Have you ever played this game? If so, who's your favorite character and why?

I play every once in a rare while, using Deep. I started using him because I like swords *stabbed by a Black Mage*, and I continued using him because I was too lazy to learn how to use anyone else.

But nothing changes the fact that I can't beat Julian on Easy. Hell, that's if I can even get to him; I'm not very good at this game since I lose track of my character too easily.

Playing this game with a bunch of friends gives the gameplay a plus. I only played this a few times, but it's decent.

I play it. Less often than I want to, but my friends don't like it. They still don't like it after I killed and zombified them, commanding them to play it. So it's kinda boring to go solo, because the computer is either predictable or kicks my ass.

I play as Deep, because swords are just more fun. I tend to overuse the sword arc projectile, especially against everything. I also do too much dash-jump-slash quasi-comboing, because it pwns the computer so well. I'd probably be screwed against a human who knew what they were doing.

Heh. An unexpected combination... Most people I know tend to play Freeze, though one plays Henry and one plays John.

I use Davis myself. It's all about the Dragon Punch... Cuts straight through absolutely anything.

Though in just for fun matches, I tend to use Firzen. Ha ha. Firzen...

Little Fighter 2?

Fun game, fun...

Heard rumors of a Little Fighter 3... saw some screenshots (assume them to be fake however). Any informations on this title?

Anyway, back to Little Fighter 2...

I like that game. My favorite character (exept for Julian but that's being cheap) is Freeze.

I like being able to reflect projectiles simply by punching them and the fact that he can takes out an ice sword and smacks people with it is quite fun (and deadly). His ice spike line tech is a good crowd control tool and while his ice tornado isn't nearly as good a panic attack than Firzen's arctic volcano or Julian's big bang, it still gets the job done.

All in all, I like that character and I believe that I'm somewhat decent with him.

I generally use Firen, Freeze and Rudolf. Mostly Rudolf these days, his hide and double techniques are fun to use and a great help when going up against several opponents. Other characters I use for fun are LouisEX, Firzen and Julian.

And I've never heard of a "Little Fighter 3", but there is a Little Fighter Online...

Yeah, just about everyone knows about LFO nowadays... But you have to pay for it, and that sucks.

I've played the beta version and it really wasn't all that great. I don't like the new setup, I'm not much of a fan for the "3D-ish" look it has, and I really don't like how only a few characters from LF2 made a comeback.

Let's see, they've got a whole mess of new characters with Davis, Julian, Dennis and Woody being the only previous characters to return... at least I think that was Dennis and Woody I saw... bleah.

If the game gets an English release I'll give it another try, maybe even pay for it if I have to (if I even can). In the mean time, I'll just stick to Little Fighter 2.

I read on wikipedia that the later versions of LFO have all the old characters, though.
