I have a job! Actually, I think my job has helped me on so many levels. I work at Sears, if you don't know already. I do like it a lot. There's a lot of walking involved but I've actually lost 10 pounds. I get pretty good hours too and good pay. I'm a MCA and sales consultant for the mattress department. A MCA picks up things, strainghtens, and stocks in their department.

With the way things are going, probably very soon, but for now nothing. I've had 4 since I was 14 (only one to be considered full-time) and it wasn't that great of a job to begin with.

As for jobs to further the career I want for myself, never had a single one...well...minus the one thing I took where I helped someone learn how to use a computer for about 5 or 6 an hour but it wasn't that hard and I really didn't consider it a job more than a thing I did after school. Easy cash though.

No. I did a one full day thing at this printing press my dad worked at. He offered for me to do again, but.. no. It made me appreciate the value of an education, if nothing else.
My current situation at home makes it impossible for me to get a job, thanks to my difficult mother. =\ I plan to leave home and hop into the work force right after school.

I have a job. I work as a telemarketer. It is just a temporaruy job, because I am going to study meteorology at university this fall.

Sorry if this was a retarded post. I am kind of drunk right now..

I was trying to make this post earlier today while I was sober, but I was interrupted, and yeah.

I work at an outdoor gear store, both as sales and as a gear tech (repairs, modifications etc). If all goes well (very well) this May I'll be doing a 16-month internship at IBM... but I'm not holding my breath for that. More likely, I'll end up at some local company.

Assistant Manager - Hot Topic
Employee - Zachary Construction

I'm planning on resigning my position in Hot Topic when spring break comes around. I'll be deployed for Beijing, China this May and won't be back for a year. But I'll get a hefty pay, nice room, free food/electricity/water/airfare and can arrange for visitors to come for free.

HH - What the hell sort of place are you looking for work where you live? Under a rock? There are construction and forestry jobs aplenty.

I *will* have a job; what it is up to debate. I'm applying to a whole bunch of rather "good" places. To spur my future. Several foreign embassies for basic paper pushing in English work. Culture centres - which offer the ability to pick up the basics of a language. Or I'll be working fire safety up North. Something that pays well. :s

I work in a restaurant as a waitress...it dosn't pay alot alot but it is money, and it helps so my auntie has to worry a little less about supporting me on her own low pay (when I buy my own things, I think it really helps her alot..) Its a 'simple' waitress job, but what I really want to do is cook but I don't see that happening soon. Especially at this Japanese restaurant. I don't know how to throw my knives or anything fancy, and Japanese cooking has alot of tricks like that involved when it comes to restaurant food (you usualy cook right for people in front of them)

I wouldnīt be able to cook if people stared at me while I was doing it.

I already said that I donīt have a job but I usually take summerjobs to earn some money.

I work at Spencer Gifts and honestly it's quite boring. They trick you into working there with their "Life's a Party" montre and "cool" products, but it loses its novelty very quickly. I'm seriously sick of selling what is 95% pure crap in that store. I've been trying to get a job at Majesco Games as a tester for the past few months but they never called me for my second interview like they said they would, so I am hounding their asses.

That's the only way to get a response from most hiring managers, or so I'm told. I never follow up when they don't respond right away, so I usually don't get a response at all. ='(

I was fired last month after I was hired because of willie won't do his job and BLAB's on me. I'm the one that left my own job not the manager. Still I'm trying to post a job on Hunt's Point Fish Market but no reply.

I work for this place. It's okay until I find something better. I'm just the dumb muscle for them (I can move heavy ass furniture close to 400lbs. by myself) I also sort & inspect what comes in.

insectduel If your looking for a job, there's a fish market in Queens by Kennedy Airport. I don't know if you'll travel that far tho, what part of The Bronx are you from?

I worked for about two years, but in Sepetember of 2005 I decided to quit my job and finally start going to school.

However, once this semseter is over I'm going to have to quit school again and start working. Alas.

I'm from Hunt's Point in the Bronx. But it's way too far. Today I had to retake the orientation in the Concourse since Hunt's Point Works is out of service. Until then, maybe I finally had a chance to work near my home.
