I have a confession to make, I'm at my old college, supporting a service user (i'm not allowed to say why, just that I'm here), and just BEING on this board is enough to get my old accound banned, but as I'm using a generic log in, and |I might not ever come back, I've decided to give it a go!
Ok so it's not all knockabout daring, but what's the most daring thing YOU have ever done? |

Originally posted by Uncle Elmo I was in this band called Mötley Crüe, and I was writing lyrics, and I put in the lines "A baby cries, a cop dies / A day's pay on the wild side" I also put in "Wild side, wild side, kicking ass on the wild side" I think it was pretty bold. There was a big risk everyone would realize how retarded my lyrics were. |

Hahahah.. that's pretty bold Zem.
Well, whenever someone's getting picked on I make sure people step off. I'm usually quiet in school, but last year these kids were making fun of this girl jackie in my science class and I just snapped... I said something like "Wow.. guys you really need to shut the fuck up and leave her alone.. she's not doing anything to you.". And they never bothered her again. This year these kids were making fun of this boy in special ed to his face, and I went up to them and told them to leave immediatly. And they did. Yeah, my schools pretty messed up. If I can't stand one thing, it's people picking on people for no apparant reason. Oh and this one day I found a girl crying in the bathroom and I cut half my math period so she could talk to me about her problems. I didn't even know her. And one day I found a boy crying on the stairs at school, and I gave him a big hug. Didn't know him either.. he didn't wanna talk though. Random acts of kindness are only bold if you're shy though. [Edit] Wow, I can't believe I forgot this part. The last night of summer... I smoked pot with this boy nick and we stayed up all night at the beach near my house. THAT was crazy. Especially because my parents thought I was at Krissy's house.. and his thought he was at his friend Dave's house. I dunno, it worked out wonderfully.. parents never found out. It was insane... but it was amazing. (edited by Snow Tomato on 01-20-06 03:23 PM) |

Originally posted by Alastor the Stylish Seriously, why didn't anyone tell me Chuck Norris was on the board? Is it true what they say about how you play The Oregon Trail? Mine might've been stealing CD's from the school's radio station (this was in college). Not one or two. Over a hundred. During my show, I'd look around while a song was playing, stick what I'd like in my bag, and carry on. (See, that cabinet was locked, but someone else popped it open. There was another cabinet, which was left unlocked, that had CD's anyone could help themselves to. Hooray, cover story!) Of course, I drunkenly blabbed about it to friends who were there and they had to turn me in, so I spent a semester living at home and having to sneak into my girlfriend's room. (ahem) |

Hahah, once I killed JFK and framed some cunt name Lee Harvey Oswald. Well, technically, I killed JFK twice, but the time travel is a bitch to explain.

Oh man, I hear that. This one time there was some punk with a stovepipe hat hanging out in a theater, looking all beardy and shit, so I just pulled out my pistol and shot him. The noob didn't even flinch, just sat there and died. This would have been... oh, a hundred and fifty years ago or so? I totally jumped down and rode away on my horse as rap music blared in the background. You shoulda been there.

Haha, yeah, it's amazing what you can put people up for when you get a president drunk enough to take his pants off.
Which reminds me, I should probably call that gal and see how she's doing... What was her name... Maria? Monique? Ah, I'll remember it sometime. |

Hmm... I'm not a very daring person.
I go on upside down rollercoasters, while many of my friends refuse. I went on my first one when I was about 10, when I was tall enough. Scared the crap out of me the first time, but now I love it. Oh, and I went rafing in a tube and tube alone in semi-white water. It was not by choice, I was lied to. |

Probably the time I snuck into a hotel in San Diego at 4 in the morning, managed to find a vacant, open hotel room, and made about an hour and a half's worth of international phonecalls to my friends and family back in Australia. Never figured out whose room it was or who would have to pay for it.
Hey, I was homesick! (edited by Arwon on 01-20-06 11:04 PM) |

My most daring thing was probably when I tried to break the track record on a summer toboggan track.
I ende up smacking my head into the track itself and it almost made me faint. But I manage get to the others. I almost got an extra hole in my ear. |

Going tubing was particularly wild for me, but it was freakin' fun too. Until I fell in. Also the time I called up some satellite company (don't recall which) and tricked them into giving me various private phone numbers. I'd planned to call them the following Monday (it was Friday afternoon, so I figured nobody would answer) but I lost the sheet I wrote them on. Dammit!
Another fun one was at some campsite in Alberta, late at night. My dad had brought home an old laptop his company was throwing out, and I found I could use it as a phone. I decided to go down to a nearby phone booth and splice into the line. Didn't have the proper tools to get into the wire box though. (And it was practically wide open... I could see the wires, but I'd have to remove some funny screws to get at them.) Probably the craziest thing I did was actually try to kill my mom's old boyfriend. (I doubt many of you could imagine the hell it was living with him. ) I was right up behind him with a knife when he turned around and grabbed it. |

This one time, I was walking around, munchin' some cereal, when some punk kids started getting all up on my shit. They were like, TRIX IS FOR KIDS, BITCH all trying to mob me for what I got. I beat those chumps up in about half a second. It was beautiful.
