I'm trying to use Tall Guy GFX for my rexes, but the head always goes farther out than the body. Does anybody know how to fix it?

What I mean is:
The rex head goes out to the side further than the body, and it starts out like that. Like this: (head) (body) Correct way! This way,though... (head) (body) It like cut the two parts in half. |

If you look around on the archives you might find something. I know this has been asked before. The head is over like 2 pixels from the body.

Originally posted by Sparx Well, that's probably the easiest way, and it works, I've done it. If you're just too lazy to do it yourself, I could whip together an IPS patch for you. EDIT: There you go, this patch will also keep their heads from bobbing up and down. I've only tried it on a clean rom, so you should create a backup of your hack just in case there would be any problems. (edited by Simon on 01-19-06 12:56 PM) |

I've had this problem myself... What I did was I went through the tile pixel by pixel and move them over juuuuust enough to align them in the game... Kind of a guess and check thing... I was a noob back then; but I haven't experience this problem in my new hacks... (I haven't changed Rex for a while...) Umm... I don't know about two pixels off though... I mean look:
Here's a screenshot from Lunar Magic... The top frame isn't in line with the body... You're gonna have to move it over to the left manually... Sorry... That's what I had to do... (about 4 pixels should do it... at least I think...) (edited by JJokerDude on 01-19-06 05:22 PM) |
