Exploratorium, huh? I volunteer there.
I never got Rubik's Cubes. I knew a kid who could solve them consistently, usually in under a minute. He could also do those 3x3 sliding puzzles that vex me so. As a side note, Rubik's Snake isn't really a "puzzle." |

Hmm. I knew the record was fast, but I didn't know it was that fast. Interesting. Interesting.
I suck at rubik's cubes though |

Wow you gotta be a real geek if you're going for such a record.
Very amazing nonetheless, I've never understood rubics cube. |

Till this day I have never solved a Rubik Cube.
I did cheat once. It was a palm size Rubik Cube and you could take it apart and put back the cubes in any order you wanted...still took me like 3 minutes to do so. |

hmm...a caltech kid too interesting.
11 seconds for a totally random cube? I consider it luck. I'm more impressed by the 15 year old kid from pasadena who won the thing |

Never solved a rubik's cube. But re-arranging the stickers is a good way to do it
I can't believe people have enough spare time to master the rubik's cube. Then again... I tend to waste most of my time. _Ž |

I'm fairly certain I read recently about someone setting the record for solving the Rubik's Cube BLINDFOLDED.
If that's true... WTF. You'd have to commit the cube's colors to memory and then... |

I donīt recall ever solving a rubik's cube either. But then my patience can be pretty bad so I wouldnīt be surprised.
I wonder how long that guy has trained. |

I can do them decently fast. I did one a few to many times and reset it everytime to be the exact same and got it in like a minute and a half. Normally it takes to damn long though. | |||

I have actually solved a Rubik's Cube once when I was about 15 but it took hours to do it. I can never imagine doing it in seconds cause you have to have really good memory and really fast hands to actually be that good.
Well, a friend of mine from high school named Brandon makes solving this look as easy as breathing. He brings his Rubik's Cube all the time to school and always solves it quick around all of our classmates and our teacher. I do think that he could beat that record if he wanted to . I do give all my props to anyone who solves this damn thing. Good job to the asian kid . (edited by Ruby Weapon 7 on 01-19-06 07:40 PM) (edited by Ruby Weapon 7 on 01-19-06 07:42 PM) |
