| Well, I finally got a chance to use my new recording equiptment. Or rather, I finally figured it all out.. and I made my first recording on it. The quality is a SHITLOAD better than the preveious recordings. Those with an ear for this stuff will notice that I didn't add any reverb to anything, and that I didn't mix the levels quite right.. but there's a reason for that. It's still saved on my mixing board.. and I'm going to go back and add bass, and probably piano to this song.. and at the end when I'm na-na-na-ing by myself, I'm going to have people singing with moi. So yeah.. hah.
Basically, I need to know what you think about the core of the song. As it stands there's two acoustic guitars and my vocal track. It's very raw. So far it sounds good! It gets better when your voice comes in...This is a great song. I can't wait to hear it when it's completely finished! |

| I'm pleasantly surprised... that sounded very good. Most of these myspace music recordings I hear.. they aren't very good. But you sounded very nice, you have a lot of talent as well as potential. You have a nice voice, and the guitar is pretty good too. I'd like to hear more mixed in, to make it sound fuller and.. stuff.
I'm no expert with music, but I can tell you that I think it sounds great. If you do update those songs, let us know.

And I have the lyrics.. Oh yes, my sister wrote the second verse.. so props to her on that [= "You Should Know" When I start to feel a little lonely signs headed west look better when I start to hum this song I know I'm not the only one. When stars seem so far away and life seems to flicker and fade and when the waves they crash on and on You know you're not the only one. When I notice all the lonely people headed home to lonely songs I hope they find where they belong I hope they know they're not the only ones. There was a girl I only tried to save her she didn't hold on and so I lost her the fall it only made her worse and I never wanted her to break. Feel the damage done, My only mistake.. she's dripping heroin in her veins and I don't think I can pull her not not sure if she wants to be held down. So here I am with my cigarette and only tried to hold out my hand and although she feels all alone hope she knows she's not the only one.
