Memory Map
I haven't gotten around to cleaning up the code, yet, but it still works. (edited by Kailieann on 11-20-05 01:36 PM) |

That's excellent! I really needed that for my hack. I kinda wanted Mario to be a little faster, just to add to the challenge. How do you retrieve that btw? Do you use a tool or just mess with it? | |||

Dunno about anyone else, but I use ZSNES's cheat search. (edited by Kailieann on 11-20-05 01:39 PM) |

I use Snes9x
HELP: The level friction (7E0086) isn't working when I want to increase it. What does "absolute value type" mean. (I think I know but I'm still getting nothing). |

hmmm...
I vaguely recall there being a rom address somewhere that changed the friction for the entire game. If you can track the offset down, you could try repointing it to an unused RAM address. |

Is there a way of finding RAM addresses for NES games?
Do any NES emulators have the RAM search function like ZSNES or SNES9x? |
