| Okay so Danielle has been experiencing problems with my layout... It screws up threads that it's in, in both lololol and IE, by making it stop loading for several minutes. I'm rather perplexed by this, and I've tested it in them and it works fine, as well as in Opera, obviously, since that's what I tend to use. No one else has noticed this, or at least they haven't commented on it. Since this is the place where people make threads about layouts, I figured this would be the best place to ask if anyone knew what the problem was. | |||

I've experienced the same problem with almost all layouts. Maybe even Danielle's herself.  It's only a slight problem, though. A computer's gotta compute, right? |

| I'm on lololol and it hasn't happened to me, but normally when a page just stops loading like that its waiting for a reply back from a server hosting an image on it. Does it happen to every time for those people experiencing it or just sometimes? Maybe imageshack is having periodic problems, those who have the image cached wouldn't notice. | It's happened every time starting a few days ago.. I let Kyouji know, and he had no idea why. It's still happening, so.. he's trying to help me out.

| Yeah you're supposed to see that, its the css file for his layout loads, if for some reason you couldn't access it, that would explain what's locking the page. Of course if you couldn't load the css file his layout would look pretty messed up. Are all his images loading? Is it just his layout doing it? What browser are you using? Yeah, his layout loads... it just takes 5 minutes. Until it loads, I can't see the text, nor can I scroll past it. It locks the page until everything loads. |

| Do you have any type of ad-blocking software or firewall? It may think that the CSS file is one of geocities ad panes. If you do try disabling it and reloading the page and see what happens. | |||

| This is odd. What browser are you using and what's your ISP? Since no one else seems to be experiencing it, there must be something unique about your set-up. Does anyone else use that computer who might have installed any ad-blocking software or firewall? If you have another browser installed on that computer, try loading it from there and see what happens. | |||

| Nope... nope.
It happens on both this computer (my own, nobody else uses it, I use lololol) and on my dad's (his computer, he doesn't know HOW to install anything, won't let me install lololol so I use IE). It happens with both, and it happens on both computer. His layout just... will not load. What would my ISP have to do with it? I have Cox....
not by choice. |

| The first one... but I knew that ages ago and adblocked it on FF ever since. Doing that solved the problem, for the most part... it's still adblocked.
The other two were fine. |
