Let me start off by saying that they had better have the same type of humor has the orginal.

Its finally official, Clerks 2 will be coming out. Most of the orginal cast are back.

There's the teaser trailer on that site, plus a few extra videos here and there.

Why isnt the link you have us a site? I hope this lives up to the first one, no way it could be as funny as the first, but they better try damn hard.

Actually...that is the link, its just that the site is down right now.

From what I've read, it's gonna be a great movie. On the View Askew boards, there's a thread for those who have already seen the movie [http://www.viewaskew.com/theboard/viewtopic.php?t=41929] (they had a private screening). While the comments were spoiler-free (I suspect that they signed some sort of confidentiality agreement), I never read anything negative.

I'll be brief. Best Kevin Smith movie made to date? In a word: yes.
This flick is like the best parts of Chasing Amy & Jersey Girl mixed with a little bit of Now You Know and a dash of Strike Back for good measure. It's f*cking genius. You guys are going to LOVE it.
Also, it may be important to mention that:

The film is a hard R/nc17. Nothing explict shown, just once again going back to hard, hard, sexual dialogue. (but very funny) Word so far is that a possible unrated theatrical release might happen.
... I can't wait.

Wow.

What is it with the year 2006 and the preponderance of movies that I actually care about going to watch? I love Kevin Smith's work, even the stuff that did not tend to be reviewed as well as some of the others (I thought Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was a real laff riot, thankyouverymuch), so this is a must-see for me.

I'm sure it will be a great movie... but I'm not sure if it will be a good Clerks movie though (IMO it didn't need a sequel but my mind may change once I see it)... I can see why they ditched the black and white but if they make it an ACTUAL movie then I'll probably be pissed. I loved the "layers of hell" skits from the original Clerks.

Yeah there was mention of that on IMDB. I enjoyed the series and was quite suprised how they made it so funny with a TV-PG rating.

Not ALL humor is explicit, you know...

Jason Lee ruled as Randall, and he's usually in almost all of Smith's movies in some way or another.

Dammit, this, Kingdom Hearts II, Rydain's right. This is just the start of 2006 having media that I actually care about in it...

[= yess!!! The first clerks was amazing, I hope they don't butcher the good name of clerks.

There's some movie's that shouldn't have sequels made though. Like Big Momma's House, which IS getting a sequel.

Yes. Jason Lee was both Brody and Azrael. Tsk tsk, Grey.
