| I used to watch that. Anyone else here catch it? First season was awesome but lost interest in the second season. Although adult Mimi and Sora were hot, didn't think the story line was as good. Onething that was kinda crazy, if the digital world is a shadow of the internet those kids must have seen so much porn.
The story line of the first season was cool. Started off as a survival, but turned into a quest as more was revealed, then really heated up to epic as they started to regain contact with the analog world and everything came out. Part of me wondered how the kids survived digital sampling needed to convert thier analog valued particles to digital information, I got to thinking about it though and figured out maybe they invoked the little known PD (plot device) function of quantum mechanics. The formula of which is... if vector = show^PI^2/5 then viewer = just+should+relax*confused/analness factor It also had lots of cool visuals. Second season was a big disappointment after that. Didn't bother with the third. |

| Digimon Adventure (otherwise known as season 1) was fairly cool.
Digimon Adventure 02 (otherwise known as season 2) seemed okay, but I never really got a chance to see much of it. Digimon Tamers (otherwise known as season 3) was nothing more or less than a marketing gimmic. BUY THE OFFICIAL DIGIMON(tm) TRADING CARDS AND YOUR DIGIMON WILL DIGIVOLVE!!!!!!11!!! Digimon Frontier is badass. Plain and simple. |

| I hated the show.
Why? It destroyed and defaced everything that I liked about Digimon. Those little electronic toys that were produced not too long after Tomagotchi, and you could battle with them. I loved those, and watching the show just... Ruined everything for me. |

| Theme song ruined it for me. Warned me that I was entering a threshold of cheap marketing and idiocy as soon as I heard a stupid electronic voice going "DIGIMON! DIGITAL MONSTERS! DIGIMON... whatever they say". The song will tell you lots on the anime, in my opinion. | |||

| Where I came from, you were either a Pokemon fan or a Digimon fan, and if you liked both, more power to you. I was always a Pokemon girl. I disliked Digimon for many reasons..I owned the first two Tamagochi generations, and soon after, clones like Nano Pets and, you guessed it, Digimon came out. I thought they were all just marketing gimmicks so I never picked up on it. Oh, but, then, it comes back in to the light JUST after Pokemon starts to pick up. Mmm...I thought they were just trying to steal another market. Digivolve? People would associate Digimon and Pokemon as one in the same.
When I came stateside for the very first time for a videogames convention, the amount of people blinded by American media scared me. People saw both franchises as nothing more than their horrid North-Americanised anime counterparts, and dared to compare and even group the series as one in the same based on that. I was never a fan of misconceptions, and always just liked to stay true to what I felt was the original. But yeah.....I didn't like Digimon very much  |

Steal another market? No shit.  Pokemon was first in sweden and I was really excited about it since I hadnīt seen an anime based on videogames before. This really got me into pokemon. I have at least 7 VHS tapes full of pokemon episodes. It also made me start collecting cards. The swedish theme song sucked, though.
Digimon didnīt come until way later. At first I didnīt care about it and the theme sonfg sucked on this one too. I started to watch it a little the latest 2-3 years of my life. The episodes Iīve seen has been pretty cool. Dunno what seasons it was, though. I didnīt start collecting Digimon cards but I have a few, though. Bought a few to see what it was. I donīt have much for Digimon either but I like what Iīve seen. I like Pokemon more. Oh yeah, I also have an old Tamagotchi somewhere at home. |

| I'll admit it, i did watch the early digimon. Nad yeah, it as good. ANd yeah, your right, the later series did suck. Especially the whole morphing into a digimon thing. That was bullcrap. The idea was to have a not so obviously slave driven pocket monster show. | |||

| Season 1,2 and maybe 3 of Digimon is better than 4. Season 4 is starting to get BORING!!! But The final saga of Season 3 was not too good either. Just the beginning. I taped almost all the first two seasons of Digimon but at least The video game Digimon World 3 for Playstation is better.

| The first season of Digimon (Digimon Adventure) was the best one.
It entertained me throughout it's entire run. The rest well, Digimon Adventure 02 (Season two) really made me stop caring for them at the end a bit. And the epilogue really sucked. They show everyone grown up and most of them have kids and such but for many of them it simply said "...he/she has a son/daughter" There? That's it? Who did he/she marry? Did he/she marry at all? Who is the mom/dad? Blah. Digmon Tamers was okay. The whole D-Reaper concept was lame. And Digimon Frontier. The first season I didn't watch completly. They kept on changing it's schedule time and when I did find it, I stopped caring. The realization that is was uninteresting finally hit me. |

| I was a huge freakin' fan of digimon. I liked it better than pokemon because of the weird backstory alluded to in Adventure 01 and 02. I even wrote down all I could gather about the backstory and wrote a history of the digital world....I think its still on my computer somewhere....
And season 1 was the best but only the first saga of 02 stunk like a monkey. The rest of the season had the old gen guys show up and it had a friggin' sweet conclusion. Myotismon suddenly revealing himself as the big baddie was one heck of a twist (from what I had seen at the time, at least) 03 was good to, what it had in commercial attempt it more than made up with in nifty plot concepts. 04....It was a kind of dying gasp, it was okay but they changed the fundamental thing that made digimon differnet from the other Saban stuff: they're pets did the fighting not them.... |

I would agree with you if that was the only thing. To me he wasn't an archvillian, that's why it suprised me to see that it was him. To me, it was like "wow! Blast from the past!" Still, thoughtless, I can see where you're coming from. I could easily envision myself as having a different reaction at that time. |
