Yes, Im going to buy a DS, but im not sure, which one of these...
The game packs are about 159e + 59e for Castlevania.
The DS alone is 129e + 59e for the games.
And my little sister wants to play with it too. Argh!

See, I'd either get CV or AWS myself.

I'm not really into MK that much...and even if I was battling against someone via Wi-Fi, my entertainment wouldn't last like a good long RPG or SRPG does.

The Mario Kart red DS bundle was only for the holidays, so if you can find one, I highly suggest you to get it.

Nintendogs is ultimate love!

Seriously, I'm not going to lie to you. I have begun saving up for a DS because of Nintendogs. Not only is it fun, it is obscenely innovative and maximizes the use of the hardware. It is, quite frankly, a guilty pleasure. As far as I'm concerned Nintendogs is probably one of the best video games ever made, from a technical standpoint. And a playability standpoint. And the standpoint of a good game for kids.

Where is the "NinDS/MKDS bundle + AWDS" option?

That should totally be an option.

(AWDS is better than castlevania)

I voted for Mario Kart + Castlevania. That's the combo I'm in the process of getting. (I have the DS and MK, but not Castlevania yet. I'm either going to order it or end up purchasing it.)

I might consider Advance Wars too... That would probably be a great game to kill time on at school or on the subway/bus since it's not fast-paced.

Nintendogs is for queers that can't have a real pet. If you're a queer get the game. If you want to kick some ass on Wi-Fi get the Mario Kart bundle plus Castlevania. Good multiplayer action plus an oldie but goody series.

I got Castlevania first (it was half price), then a MK bundle. Haven't played Nintendogs or AWDS. The GBA versions were a bit, let's say overly difficult. No WiFi for me so far. I should be able to connect, but my hardware isn't set up right. One thing I found to be odd is how the MK system was $20 more than their Nintendogs pack.

That's possibly the best choice. MKDS is possibly the best DS game yet and Advanced Wars is always fun. That's what I would suggest.

Why buy the others? Out of them all, MKDS is the best. Buy it.

Yeah, but something funny happened last year. The DS ended up getting a bunch of really good titles that helped it to have a successful year.

MK is a must but you could easily pair it with any of the other titles.

Oh, and later purchases you might like include...

  • Meteos
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (No longer being shipped)
  • Kirby: Canvas Curse
  • Bomberman
  • Mario & Luigi: Super Star Saga
  • Cynthia

Phoenix Wright will be back in stores soon. Me thinks that Capcom kinda underestimated how much of a hit it would become... but on the plus side, I'm sure that future games will be translated and brought to America thanks to that.

I went with the Mario Kart DS pack + Castlevania choice. Mario Kart DS the greatest DS game so far and I´ve heard/read that Castlevania should be great too.

I think you meant Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Alastor.

    He probably did.

But there's also no harm in getting the original if you can find it for cheap and playing it on the DS.
