Which movie had the best special effects in 2005?

Star Wars Episode 3. Those affects are always good and pretty awesome. I would also say King Kong but I haven't seen it yet. Maybe War of the Worlds too but haven't seen that either. But from what I've seen from the preview they are pretty good, but nowhere near as good as Episode 3. Star Wars always pwns.

Kong. Definately. I was in awe of that big ape. Truely a digital masterpiece.

I was considering seeing this, and I didn't know it had 1337 effects. How good is it compared to the book? I heard it was dfferent in some respects, but perhaps that would draw me to see it more.

Star Wars 3!
Lucas waited 30 years for the technology to delevop the special effects just as he saw them.
I wish so much all the other Star Wars had those effects.
If episode V were made in 2005, it would hands down be the best movie ever! And I'm not even a Star Wars fan!!

Knew you'd say that.

But hey, it's true, and probably has one of the most famous lines ever.

In terms of style, Sin City by far.

I can't stand the special effects in the latter two Star Wars prequels. They look so horrible.

King Kong looked good, mostly. What I can't stand is when they make CG people. It always looks bad.
