I've seen a few articles around for this for the past two days, but hadn't read one till today.

The Nissan URGE will have an Xbox in it, and you will be able to play games such as Project Gotham Racing 3 using the car's steering wheel, pedals, etc

Yep. Interesting concept. I'm guessing an actual car would probably "feel" better to play games with than some of those steering wheel controllers.

Would rather a PlayStation and Gran Turismo though

What do you think?

I hate xbox with the wrath of 1000 suns.
What did they do? They probably didn't change the controller size as it is already too big even for a sasquatch to use.

Nah, they went even bigger and made the controller the entire driver's seat and controls

And I too dislike the xbox. As already stated, I'd much prefer PlayStation 2 and Gran Turismo 4

Take the stupid comments elsewhere, Raven. Either you're consolebashing, which is bad, or you're making lame and unfunny jokes, which while acceptable, I highly doubt is the case.

Besides, if you would've read the article, it's an Xbox 360. =/ And if you'd been paying attention in recent months and not been blinded by your blatant hatred for Xbox, you'd have seen that they made a smaller controller.

Gecko, that's equal parts off-topic and pointless.

I think this is one of the most pointless ideas out there, really. If I wanted portable video games, I'd bring my SP with me instead of getting a new car, it's a hell of a lot cheaper that way.

But I know someone will buy it.

Who the hell is listing gaming as among the most important attributes in a car?

And just what if you accidently take it out of park while playing? Yeah I can see disaster on the horizon for the Nissan Urge already.

Try driving to work and playing Project Gotham Racing 3 at the same time. Your friends can even bet on which car you'll wreck first.

If this makes market, I predict a fatal accident and a class action lawsuit within 8 months of the Urge coming out. It's inevitable.

Article says you can't do that...but I guess someone could hack their way through the controls. After all, everything in most cars are powered...

NISSAN isn't stupid for doing this, they are getting their name out...which they need because they trail Honda and Toyoto in the street racing scene...I think...

No, no... They're stupid for doing it. Really. Life is not Pimp My Ride. Hell, putting a DVD player and a TV in a car was a bad idea too. When your car's sound system beats your own, you know you have problems. Or you like driving way too much.

Unless you have kids, in which case a TV/DVD player (in the back seat with headphones, of course) is the best thing ever.

It shuts them up and makes that boring ride so much better for them.

Time to brace for such fun excuses as "I thought I was playing GTA", "the car must have switched out of game mode when I wasn't looking", and "that didn't happen in the game".

...Although if you read close it does say the actual game is shown on a flip-down screen, not like on the windshield or something. As awesome as that would be.

Also, DVD players in cars' back seats = good. In the FRONT seats, however... (yes, I've seen this once. )

Awesome. Just like how my dad insists on having a truck that can carry an elephant. Yeah, he sure hauls those elephants around often.

This could be good...or very, very bad. Similar to having a TV in a car it could be good only in the sense that a child will be entertained, however, that is not the case as using the driver steering wheel? Yea..I do not care for the library of games that are offered for the system, or the original X-Box, so this would not be a selling point, at all, for me..and like Colin said, this just has lawsuit writen all over it. People who are already against GTA? If they hear you can play a game like that in a ACTUAL car (even if it is just that, PLAYING), they will go bananas ._.;; Just..does not seem like a very practacle feature, or a reason to buy the car on my end..

Back in my day we had to ducktape a 5-inch black and white TV and VCP (yes, P, as in "Player," not "Recorder") to a booster seat in my mom's Caravan. Kids today are spoiled.
