As well as Pokemon Sapphire, I'm having a couple of problems with Hyrule Magic. I'm not able at the moment to go into much depth with these problems, but here are some examples of what's going on:

A) Sprites not appearing in designated places (not appearing at all).

B) A massive splash of random items on the editor which actually do not appear in the game. This happened once on two maps after I tried to add 3 hearts and 3 blue rupees as items, the maps filled up with items and they were splattered on random tiles, but they did not show up in the game.

C) Doors cannot be entered sometimes. This is probably just my own problem and not setting the correct door settings, although when I get these problems I try to match the settings as much as possible to the actual game and they still don't work.

These are just a couple of the problems, does anyone know what's going on? I can't get into much detail right now as I have to leave in like 3 minutes.

3 sets of sprites for the overworld, each triggered after specific events
beginning = rainning scene -> sanctuary
part 1 = sanctuary -> beat agahnim first time
part 2 = after agahnim

that is a bug of HM, a suggestion is to remove all items and add them in last or not move them at all. The only thing which you really need the items for is the holes anyway, and for the dungeon, switches (keys can be put in chests/ dropped by enemies).

for open doors use type 00 for top level and type 01 for 'lower level', my best advice here is to look at the existing lttp rom and see how they done some of the doors.

I did not really elaborate on that. The sprites were working on one map, see, and there were only about 3. 1 did not show up, and I figured it was because there was an object overload (even though there were not many objects on the map). Because of this, I removed some objects and made some changes, then one of the other enemies disappeared and I couldn't fix it. I did a few more changes and then the default green soldier on the map disappeared and screwed a couple of things up so I had to dramatically change the layout of the map in order to get things working again because there were 2 trigger events from killing enemies.

For items, try just changing and moving around existing items. There is a bug in the HM item table editing. If you just move the existing items around, and change them, youll be fine.

Also, for sprites, i didnt really read your post so this might not help you, but there is a limited number of on screen sprites, so if you have too many placed, it will glitch up.

I deleted all of them and put just one down and it still wasn't there when I opened it up. It's not that it was even invisible, it was just plain not there... the key trigger for kill all enemies automatically turned on when I entered the room.

Do you have MSN? I have AIM but I almost never go on it. If you have MSN I can send it over there and you can discuss this with me more.

Edit: Actually... I think I solved the problem. I used to test via save states since I was too lazy to walk through Hyrule Castle like 235903908 times a day testing, but now that I tried walking through it again the enemies work.

Edit: Another problem:

This is again probably just me starter knowledge with the program not working well, but it might be a glitch. When Link walks around, certain objects/enemies are supposed to be layered over top of him (the tops that is, such as a tall torch or a knight... if you walk on the top of the sprite, it will show Link behind it and not on top of it). Some of my enemies are not layered, and Link walks on top of their faces basically. This happens to some objects too but I think the objects are supposed to happen since they're placed on the secondary part of a map (the "low" floor, and you can't fix that). These enemies are placed on the secondary part, but in the default game Link doesn't walk on top of their faces.

Everything seems to be matching fine in both my game and the default game sprite-wise, but it still has Link in front of the enemy. There might be something I'm missing though...

Also, I have no idea what P does (parameter).
