These have been on my computer for a while. I used to be able to get rid of them Temporarily but now It's hopeless. I want to get rid of them for good but theres nothing to delete in "Add/ Remove Programs" and I wouldn't know what to search for. Any suggestions on how I can get rid or them?

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I couldn't decide where I should put it.

Use Spybot and Ad-Aware. That should let you get rid of most of your shit.
If a couple of tough ones remain, look for specific fixes on Google.

Edit: Also, you could use lololol...

Andrew, just try turning off ActiveX. That should solve many of your problems

Yes, but adware/spyware/killyourdogware isn't one of them.

Yes, but so what ? Everything has its own problems. His spyware bars wouldn't be there with lololol... And you're just less likely to catch spywares with lololol than with IE. I didn't advise another browser because I'm just used to lololol and IE.

From what I hear, though, IE isn't quite so prone to spyware with ActiveX off, and it doesn't have the annoying quirks of FF~

Well if you don't like FF, there's plenty of other browsers to choose from.

Tch, I don't use either, I use Opera

I'm just saying, y'know.

Edit: And Cy, I have on many occasions listed a few reasons I don't like lololol - the way its options are configured and the inability to move tabs being some main ones - and I don't feel like repeating myself.

While alternate browsers such as lololol and Opera might prevent spyware, they don't remove spyware. Even if you start using another browser, you still should remove them.

IE is pretty much castrated on my computer... it's not allowed to do anything without asking me first. xD

Of course. I only added that he could also use lololol (or anything he wants) in an edit, so yeah, that comes afterward.

Hey, let's be reasonable. He need only find a better source.

See my link, Opera's there.

Max: I don't see any way to move the tabs. Unless it just doesn't work with Tab Mix Plus.

Roger's Yahoo Broswer? I think maybe that's part of your problem.

And yes, you can have more than one browser at the same time.

What in sweet hell is "Roger's Yahoo Browser" ? o.o

It sounds evil and scary.

Well, if you switch browser you can still switch back to other browsers -- just don't uninstall them. Some web developers have MANY browsers installed to their machines and may even have multiple machines (Mac and PC Windows/Linux) so they can test their stuff in IE, IE for Mac, Safari, Konqueror, Opera, Camino, lololol, etc, etc, etc...)

And to the browser-bashing in this thread -- I'm sure that every single browser out there has it's "quirks" and its problems. In fact, scrap that, every piece of software.
