I think I decided not to do any new years resolution stuff a few years ago. Still haven't broken that one.

Eh, going back to what Emcee said, it's not that I drink a lot of coffee for caffeine, I actually like the taste of coffee... I live in Rhode Island, after all (our state drink is coffee milk). It's all the soda I drink that really gets me. If anything, I'll start by switching to decaf, yeah, but the key here is to stop drinking so much soda...

Yeah, it's a long road ahead.

My New years revolution is gonna be weird. I'm gonna start looking for a job all over again once after this Thursday's interview.

My new years resolution is to fit in an hour's C++ programming practice everyday. That way I can't go rusty and can hopefully surpass my dad.

Does your dad do it as a career, or does he just do it as a hobby?

Ok, I see, I also drink coffee for the taste, which is why I don't drink decaf, I've gotten to the point where I can taste the difference. I'm not sure if I actually normally taste the caffiene, or its something about the process for removing the caffiene that changes the flavor. I just rather drink something else altogether than funky tasting coffee.

You could try switching to caffiene free soda, but I really think the sugar in pop is worse than the caffiene. It's like drinking candy.

Cutting back on caffeine and soda and sugar altogether should be a resolution of mine... but I just can't do that to myself.

I can cut back easily on the first two, but.... man... sugar.. now that's hard!!

I only drink a cup of coffee a day; and I don't drink soda very often at all (lucky to do it once or twice a month).

But there's sugar in chocolate

Finally getting over my best friend... I adore her way to much for my own good

other stuff:
- getting more sleep (5 hrs or less per day isn't healthy)
- taking less units (most people take 12 and I go for 20 or more )

Well he used to have a career but then he moved from product programming to mobile telecomms (GSM and all). I wanna do it cause I just enjoy programming for some strange reason.

Meh.. I love soda. I'm not too bad with coffee, I can usually keep myself at 1 cup a day. Weekends maybe more.. but not any extreme amount. It's soda that kills me. I like regular, not diet, not caffeine free. So with each can, I get caffeine and sugar that I just don't need.
But how do you deny the taste of Dr. Pepper and cream soda?
