I love River City Ransom as much as the next guy, if not more, but I somehow feel that "River City Ransom. Discuss." qualilfies as a thread topic. 
For the sake of everyone's sanity, let's give this an actual topic... Like.... Despite having announced it early on, Atlus neglected to include multiplayer support in River City Ransom EX. Seeing as multiplayer was a big part of the original, and EX allows you to have 3 NPC allies in your "posse" (indicating four player support), AND that Atlus delayed the game several times before finally releasing it, it would seem that they must have had some problem getting multiplayer to work properly and in the end decided to just toss it. The result is a game that, while great, feels incomplete. Discuss. |

| All three versions of the original game (Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, River City Ransom AND Street Gangs) have a naked girl in the graphics. I have never seen her during gameplay, and she is a full tile taller than the regular RCR sprites. After three regional versions, you'd expect the censors to find her...
In DNM, she's at 3E4F0, extra feet tiles to her left. |

Fact: DNM had the guys in gakuran, the girls in serafuku. RCR and SG had the guys in shirts and jeans. RCR-EX has the guys in gakuran no matter what version it is! Discuss. |

| Technos wanted the game to be accesible to Americans and Europeans, to whom the Japanese uniforms wouldn't make sense.
ATLUS is lazy and as popular as anime has become outside of Japan, gaijin are more familiar with the Japanese school uniforms. |
