| Pokemon Garnet is *currently* a crappy edit of Ruby, since it's my first edit/hack/whatever you want to call it. If I work on it every day, it might be done by, oh I don't know, January?

Towns done: 1 Routes done: 0 Pokemon done: 6 Overworld trainers done: 1 Trainers done: 2 Glitches: If you try to enter Route 101 from the left side, you get the message from that kid, so enter from the right. ONLY HAPPENS BEFORE YOU GET RUNNING SHOES! My problems: I can't change the pokemon or trainer sprites...@.@ I go to RSBall and I get lost from there. What do I put for the file name? | Make sure RS Ball is in the same folder as your rom. Go to the thing you want to edit (pokemon or trainer) and click on "Export". It'll will create a file called poke.bmp (unless you change the text in the box)
If you're using the latest version of Elitemap, 3.7, you can't import BMP's back into the rom (I forgot exactly why Kawa disabled it) You'll have to use RS Ball to get the offset of the thing you want to edit. Convert the offset to decimal (use Windows Calculator), click on the Advanced button in Pokepic, and put in the decimal. The rest is self-explanatory.. (edited by Totakeke on 12-23-05 02:26 AM) |

screenshot #2's roof is demented. That asside, nothing horrible, that's more than I can say for most hacks here. It'd be nice if we saw some slightly more interesting screenshots. My first reaction when I saw those few was "Dewford town", so...maybe show us something that'll catch our interest a little more. Oh and yeah, Garnet was taken by interdpth like, sometime last year. But I'll let you two sort that one out  |

| It doesn't look too bad and you need to fix that opening door glitch. e.g when you open a door the tiles glitch above the door. The data is jut above the people sprites in ruby not sure about sapphire. | |||
