I asked Xk already but he doesn't like them that much and now I'm asking the community so we may get more and better ones.

| The size difference between each sprite can be big... It might be a good idea to do something about that, like putting a 64x64 border or background around all of them... (If 64x64 is the max size a rank sprite can be)
Something that'd "standardize" each rank, make them more homogeneous, and add a layout to make them fit more nicely in the tables... That's just a random idea though. |

| I have quite a collection of animated sprites from Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid somewhere. Well, "somewhere" isn't the right term. Either they're on my computer, or they vanished when wootest.net moved last week. So I'll have to check on that. I know the timing needed tweaking, but they're pretty much rarin' to go (assuming they still exist). | |||

| I have a Chrono Trigger rankset at my board but here's the thing. Most of them aren't animated or they are over 64 x 64 pixels and some maybe disappointed because most of the bosses aren't there because they are too huge. I'll just show off five for right now.
Preview: I'll start with 3 bosses. 
Ozzie (64x76) 
Slash (36x96) 
Dalton (46x64) Now for a party member: 
Frog (48x52) .... And to finish it off, I just show a random enemy. 
Thrasher (62x90) That's it for previews. |

| A Metroid rankset would be sweet. Notice I said Metroid, and not Super Metroid. It could be done like the Zelda one, and have images from all (or most of) the games tossed into it. | |||

Admittedly, that has sprites from several different games, but they're all SNES, so it's cool. I guess a healthy mix of super metroid and zero mission would be fine... of course, they share most of the same monsters anyway. I'm not sure about bosses. I have a couple bosses and mini-bosses from MZM, but they're pretty large and I had to fudge them a bit (I'm working off screen captures here). Oh well, actually, size isn't a problem. The boss ranks would be high up and anyone who had them would probably sport a huge custom title anyway. ;o |

| I like the mix between platforms, as long as the sprites are good. It makes the rankset as a whole more interesting to look at.
Like others, I would love a Metroid set.  It's hard to guess why Xkeeper doesn't like yours without seeing all of the ranks, as opposed to a preview.. unless that's what he got as well.
I've never liked that Megaman set. I can't put my finger on why.. bleh. The one Chrono set I've seen was terrible. There weren't very many ranks, and a few of them were the same thing with different colors. I don't know if yours is the, same fabio, but it also had 2x size, which just looks awful. The Pokemon one could be interesting. How many are there? |
