Any hints on the second exit to the submarine in Adventure Hill? I've found the bonus pipes at the top and bottom of that vertical part of the level, but they seem to lead back to the normal exit.

There appears to be a glitch or something in the Buzzy Slime Cave (or something like that) stage. You can't see the water, but you can swim. The swimming is very weird too since sometimes you die because they "water" isn't there. Not that you can see the water in the first place. I can be swimming nicely, and the next minute I fall to my death not knowing what just happened.

See those green things sticking up from the floor and hanging from the ceiling? They are supposed to be slime. You can swim in them. You can't swim anywhere else.

Yeah I think it's about time for Nintendo to make a remake for SML2...
Originally posted by Joshua368 I'm glad you say that, because I wasn't really sure about that level. I thought a long time that it would be better to leave the level out of the hack, because it was a really "unusual" level... just a house with many, many levels and rooms and no clue on what the hell is the player supposed to do there. In addition, most of the level was done with the "standart"-SMW-GFX. But in the end, I decided to let the level in the hack nevertheless, but it wasn't an easy decision. |

Ah, I'm on the hotel right now. I figured out how to access level 5 and go beyond that room, but I'm not really sure what to do next.
Edit: Oh hey, a P-block. If I could just figure out where to use it. (edited by xZeaLitYx on 01-14-07 11:59 PM) (edited by xZeaLitYx on 01-15-07 12:33 AM) |

OK, humor me here - how do I beat Hedgehog Hill? I can't find an obvious exit, and it annoys me

You need to find the on/off switch, hit it, then go through the pipe you couldn't access before.

FPI.
You absolutely rock for having what you have as the background to Athletic Playground. |

Originally posted by BooUrns Oh... man I feel silly. This game could use a slightly better explaination though. I mean, I thought it was a glitch. Some of the goals aren't that clear (like Wispy Woods), but it's still a very good hack. |

Very minor, but there's a slight graphical error with the puffed Kirbys. The corner of their mouth...it's blank. Just right there.
See it? It depends on the background on whether or not you can see it. (Later...) Oh and I need an Old Aquaria walkthrough. (edited by Madman200 on 01-18-07 07:33 PM) |

Wow, what a find. But you're right. It will be fixed, thank you!
About Old Aquaria: I would like to know how far you've come there. Have you found the room with the diagonal Bullet Bills yet? Because... that's probably the most important room in that level. |

I'm confused. Old Aquaria? I know of Neo Aquaria, but...
I like this hack. While I'm still only at Banzai Bill Journey and Mysterious Pyramid, it's fun. What I DON'T like is that you can only enter the Extra levels once. What if the player wished to enter them to explore, but grab its items later? They couldn't do that because you close off the levels once you clear them. |

Originally posted by FPI OK, so I did a little goof. I never did enter the north central pipe more than once, and died the first time I went in from a stopped slide. Hold while I check farther... (later...) OK, I made it there, I'll make a secondary save state and continue from there. (later two...) Continuing failed. So I checked all spots that were anything not common, and...yeah. I found the switch. That's what I get for playing late at night with a headache. Or just doing stuff besides gaming while gaming, meh. hmmm... I did some debugging of Hotel Horror on an older version of the ROM.
It looks like the bug with the locks might be ZSNES-specific, it wouldn't happen at all in the debugger. I did notice, however, that the code for the locks was being executed twice when you had the key, as if it didn't realize you had the key the first time. Very strange.. |

Sooo.... How exactly do I get to Old Aquaria? I've been waiting to learn that... but no one seems to be answering...
