Or Windows, its old cousin:

- *boots on Windows XP CD*
- [Windows Setup] Press this key to do this, press this other key to do that, wait 5 minutes to actually start installing
- *selects partition to install on*
- [Windows Setup] I'm now copying files, so you'll have to reboot your computer
- *reboots*
- [Windows Setup] I'm now copying files again. Windows XP is the best thing ever! I'm copying a lot more files because Windows XP has so many new great features you'll love to try! I'll now introduce you to my friends.

- [Windows Movie Maker] Make crappy videos in 5 minutes and spam YouTube with them! I only support .wmv because it has superior quality!
- [Windows Media Player] What's this "WinAMP" you're talking about? By the way, half of me is hiding in system32, I hope you don't mind.
- [Outlook express] Manage your spam emails by making huge filters that block a whole 50% of them!
- [Internet Explorer] eee-e-eee-eeee!! eee-ee-ee-eee! I explore my own idea of what the Internet is while laughing like a retard and I sleep with Media Player in system32. And I'm part of Windows. But I'm the easiest and best browser ever so I'm going to sit on your desktop.
- [MSN Messenger] Exchange your favorite large animated words/smilies and fullscreen animations (with sound!!) with your friends now!
- [Windows Firewall] I'm a door sitting in the middle of the garden, whee
- [Automatic Updates] Whenever you're on, I'll install the daily security fixes and ask you to reboot. But you'll be more secure and it'll clean the memory leaks!

- [Windows XP] Welcome to Fisher-Price! ... I mean Windows XP. Click on the Start menu to start getting lost in our bloat. Remember to waste your time taking a tour of Windows XP! I also borrowed half of your disk space for System Restore and activated a few dozen services for you but it'll make Windows more secure and full of features!

- What the hell is all this crap ... *deletes*
- [System File Protection] No no no no, you need Movie Maker on your system. I restored it for you. And don't you dare deleting MSN. I restored it for you too. And if you delete my dllcache, I'm going to bug you all the time. So don't.

- [kbd*.dll] Hi, we thought you'd like to use keyboard layouts from 75 different countries, so we're all there taking space in system32.
- [mdm*.inf] That's nothing ... I'm sure you'll like to install our 180 supported modems! But for a change, we filled the inf folder instead.
- [clock.avi] I'm a stupid clock animation that isn't used anywhere, feel free to use me for something
- [oembios.*] So your copy of Windows isn't OEM? Well, I'm taking up 12.5MB of your disk space anyway because I'm hungry.

- Screw you all, I'm going to cut you away with a chainsaw

The list could go on and on ... and Vista would be worse Then there's many other bloated programs that install (and depend on) a lot of crap you'll never need ...

Vista includes 200 MB worth of sample recorded TV shows and videos of how to set up Windows Media Center. Oh, and these samples are protected by the system, of course - you have to wade through 5 different dialog boxes for each one to get rid of them.

My question is... WHY???

[IE6 Installer] K I'M INSTALLING NOW
[Me] OK while you do that I'll just WHAT THE HELL
[IE6 Installer] ORITE I HAD TO RESTART UR SYSTEM WITHOUT ASKING U OR LETTING U SAVE ANYTHING HOPE U DON'T MIND
[Me] *installs lololol*

Actually I already had lololol, but had to install IE anyway because...

[Windows Installer] Hey, I'm gonna do you a favour and save you some disk space by not copying this "mshtml.dll" file. You won't need it anyway.
[Windows] Hey you need to do this activation thing or I'm shutting down
[Me] OK, so open the activation window already
[Windows] K here you go
[Me] That's just an empty window.
[Microsoft website] It might work if you make a new user account.
[Me] The user account editing window is empty too. Oh, no wonder, they're both just a load of javascript and an IE rendering core.

Or one of my favourites.
[Me] I'm going to install (insert program here) now.
[Installer] K where do you want the Start menu shortcut?
[Me] I don't want any shortcuts.
[Installer] K I'll just add one in the Start menu for you. Oh and have some on your desktop and taskbar while I'm at it.
[Me] Up yours.
[Installer] Just for that I'm breaking your file associations too.

Six times.

We call that "bad luck".

(I've never had a CD burn badly, unless I fucked it up myself)

The Nero that came with my DVD burner seems to work nicely. Because Windows is retarded, it's the only program I have capable of burning to DVDs.

Alcohol 120% gets it right on the first try. And the second try. And the third try.

That's not so much "bad luck" as "crappy program vs. not crappy program"
