I've been a digital artist for some time but have been on hiatus for some time with the hobby.. I thought I'd post something of mine to get a feel for how you guys like it..

I did this last year or so when I was 17 and in a pretty sad state, depression wise.

To be brutally honest, I couldn't figure out what that was a picture of until a few minutes ago... and yes, I know now that it's a picture of stairs.

I'm also having problems determining if this is actual art or a photograph, so you could gain points for your realism if it is just artwork and not a picture... but I notice that the handrail, especially towards the top, ceases to exist being anything but a large white bar...

The total lack of color (minus a little red tint, I see) doesn't help either.
