| Here's the idea. I want to know everybody else's strategy when playing this game. I need 8 people to sign up. This is a project where each participant will take on a gym leader excluding Brock, and the last taking on the Elite Four. I started by playing through to Brock. When you finish, post your final progress in this thread in the following form:
Pokemon Captured: Squirtle; Pidgey; Nidoran (M); Pokemon Evolved: Squirtle > Wartortle; Pokedex: 13 seen, 4 owned Cash on Hand: $1976 Current Pokemon Team: Wartortle Lv: 16, Pidgey Lv: 13, Nidoran (M) Lv: 6 Other notes: The save file is to be called "Pokemon Red.sav", and reccomended be played on bgb. Do not progress to the next city when finished. You can take as long as you need to do this. Use of gameshark is not allowed. Use of Missingno. is not allowed. The capturing of Mew is allowed. Each participant must catch/evolve at least 2 pokemon. Upon completion of the given member's gym leader, you will send the save file to the next member in line via private message. | I'm in: We just need to make sure we all have the same ROM and save. I'd be interested in doing the Silph Co. run with whatever everyone around me has thrown...
We'd also have to map objectives for each character not related to the gym leaders, too... |

| Yeah, game should be split up a little more than just between gym leaders - The distance between Blaine and Giovanni, for instance, is a lot shorter than the distance between Erika and Sabrina/Koga.

Navigate through Mt. Moon, beat Misty, go to Bill's house, catch/evolve 3 pokemon Beat Lt. Surge, finish SS Anne, navigate through rock tunnel, catch/evolve 2 pokemon Beat Erica, defeat Team Rocket in Celedon, go through Lavender Tower, catch/evolve 2 pokemon Beat Koga, go through Safari Zone, defeat Team Rocket in Sliph Co., catch/evolve 3 pokemon Beat Sabrina, surf to Cinnibar Island through Seafoam Island, go through the burned mansion, catch/evolve at least 3 pokemon Beat Blain, navigate through Power Plant, catch/evolve at least 5 pokemon Beat Giovanni, navigate through Victory Road, catch/evolve at least 2 pokemon Beat Elite Four, navigate through Unknown Dungeon, capture Mewtwo, catch/evolve at least 3 pokemon Look any better? |

| So basically, someone beats one of these objectives then passes their save on to the next...kind of like those "psspsspsst...pass it on" type games.
I'll join. I'd like to do either the Koga/Safari Zone or the Sabrina/Cinnibar part. I don't like the caves or the power plant. |

Put a deadline. Three days can't be too much to ask for really. Doesn't have to be a really harsh one (aka none will sue you if you are a day late) but I don't want to see this going too slow.
