Funny how revisionist history would have you think the game was an utter failure when, in fact, it sold quite strongly back in the day, got lots of coverage in the video game mags (And not just NP), etc. It's a damn fun game in its own right. |

| I think its a matter of who's played it, back in the day. Most people I know who played it growing up (myself included) love Zelda II to death, but those who never did ... can't seem to go back and say its fun.
... Wait, no. Those people just suck. Zelda II is amazing no matter what. Different, sure. But its a top of the line A++ NES title in my book. |

| I think a lot of people who played Zelda II recently (or after playing several other Zelda games) are going to have a bad impression of it because it's different; it was a unique game when it first came out because of its play style.
Bet that some people would like the game if it wasn't based on Zelda.  |

| Guys guys.
There's no needs to get defensive over a game because someone else didn't like it. I like The Sims and the Simcity series allot but allot of gamers seems to hate those games for not having goals. And I can't force them to like those games. |

But, either way, it's an example of how a port *SHOULD* be done. In other news, I'd pay good money to see a port/remake of Actraiser. Fun game, it was.
