| That was what the trends were pointing to. But the DS caught on with crowds that it wouldn't normally would've. The PSP got a whole lot of bad press just before coming out. It had a high price tag. Things like that.
If Nintendo hadn't managed to get the DS kick off a bit of a word of mouth coupe, things may have turned out a little differently  |

| Well, I'm sure the reason that it is supposedly good is because "OMG ITZ PLAYSTATION!"
That is what vibe I get from everyone I know. 
Then when I say the Wii will win and they say "Wii? What's that?" When I mention Nintendo then they realize I meant Wii as in console and not... well, you know... |

It's amusing when a handheld that almost been around for two years beats a newly released console. Then it seems like there's a shortage of PS3's at the same time, or maybe it only seems.
