Continuing with my strange trait of posting new threads here (mostly because the rest of the board is a bit lame at the moment, and I like my Lost Threads )...

Lately I've started dreaming again. Nothing strange until you consider that prior to last week, I hadn't had a dream in probably months... and since my first one lately, I've had them almost every night, and can usually remember them pretty well.

I've started keeping a dream log and usually share it with two people so I can get a third party to reaffirm my knowledge that I am one seriously fucked up person.

It's just weird, really. *Xkeeper shrugs

The title of said log is subcon, named after both subconscious and Subcon, world of dreams, from SMB2.

(No, you can't see subcon. Don't ask.)

This may sound asinine, but I've had the same thing happen to me recently. Not shitting you, I was just talking with a friend about it the other day. Although, I think it's because my sleep has been interrupted a few times and I've been screwing up my sleep schedule a little bit recently, and it is messing with my REM sleep a bit as a result, I'd guess. Weird coincidence, though, and most of what I've dreamed about during this time are conflicts that randomly happen during what in my dream I think is everyday life.

I either haven't been dreaming or haven't been remembering them lately.

Even though I can sometimes do lucid dreaming, I can't remember those ones even. I wonder what I dream about, even when I'm controlling them

Heh, might as well record a fragment of a recurring strange dream.

Said dream continues up until a certain point, until I suddenly see two beakers full of red liquid being stirred. For some reason, I suddenly realize the place I'm in (some lab in a bunch of cliffs) is going to explode, and run like hell away from it, jumping from rocky platform to another (like from one mountaintop to another, but with realistic jumping distances and gaps.)

I'm nearly away from there when the lab far behind massively explodes, sending shockwaves which cause the platforms themselves to crumble. I manage just barely to leap across several crumbling ones, nearly falling, until I leap over one last massive void, Mission Impossible explosion style, and land in this sort of dark... town. (Which, weirdly, the same town has appeared in multiple dreams.)

From there the sun has set (it was setting during the explosion sequence) and I am accosted by zombies; the buildings and zombies are bluish-green tints, realistic, but also sorta weird. Then, the weirdest part; I whip out boxes of cheerios and hurl them at them. Then I woke up.

Which reminds me of yet another dream, in which aliens had invaded the Earth, and they looked like little Kapu-kapus (cat things from Chu-chu rocket), and they came in massive, Metroid Prime II-style ships. However, I had suddenly obtained psychic powers... and so mercilessly went about, causing them to explode via telekinesis, as well as a robotic version of them I somehow hijacked with my mind. Eventually, though, there were too many. The ship and the aliens had crashed into the same mountain from the other dream, except the other side; I ran from there to the city, whence I 'pulled a Broderick Crawford' by stealing a 1940's police car and driving down a street reminiscent of one adjacent to my Grandmother's house, before eventually escaping across a variety of fences and waking up.

...Hum... this only reminds me of more dreams in the same sort of town and mountain area. Now that's freaky.

I rarely remember my dreams. The last time I actually remembered something I dreamed must have been months ago. Either that or I'm dreamless.

The only dreams that I usually remember are about video games. Those dreams usually are about me playing a game that hasn't been released. The most recent dream I had was I was playing Red Steel for the Wii. After that, I woke up and looked at the calendar and it was still July.

Other than that, all my other dreams are random and aren't worth remembering to me.
