I keep things in the "My Documents" folder (or home folder, depending on circumstances), but within My Documents I have a "Various Other Things," which I guess counts as a "Stuff." However, VOT is fairly organized within itself, with a few subfolders (including an "Other" folder, a stuff-within-stuff folder) and a bunch of other disorganized files.

Hmm, on both my old computer and this one I made a folder called "Downloaded", and it seems to house folders and files endlessly. Sorted to where I know where things are myself, but if someone else were to try and find something within it, I doupt they could.

No "stuff" folder, but I have "D:/new folder" with some random images, and "D:/comics/trash" for all the sprite comics stuff I worked on at a point.

My Documents and D:/ are pretty much filled with random unorganized crap, though.

I've got three, but I used to have four. All on Desktop, yeah.

The main is "drug cabinet," a renamed My Documents folder. But the renaming caused a strange division. I can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Inside it is all my writings, writings of dead people, and essays. It's all in a directory titled "water". That directory is through my desktop. But the other directory is the regular My Documents thing.

The second directory is titled lint, and just contains a bunch of .txt files. It contains a .txt for phone numbers, strange passwords I hardly ever use, a !.txt for remembering things.

The other folder is also on my Desktop. That one's called Instruments of doom. Inside the directory are a bunch of programs I have for everyday use; calculator, spybot, IE (in case lololol isn't working), and bittornado. Then in there are three other directories. One for storing torrent files, another for ROMs, Emulators and other video games, and lastly a directory which stores all installation files, and other things I download through lololol.

My crap folder is titled "Emulators and Crap", as it contains many emulators, ROMs, music, hax0ring materials, pictures, music, etc. A.K.A. crap.

It used to be just titled "Emulators" but I didn't feel like making a new folder...so...

Hardlinks work awesome for that. I download all my torrents to F:\Torrent Storage, keeping whatever asinine directory layout and 400-character filenames they have. When the download finishes I make hardlinks into the appropriate folders and give them names and layouts that aren't stupid. I can then continue to seed using the files in Torrent Storage. It's like copying the files, but it's really one copy with two directory entries, so no extra disk space is used.

I have several. Mostly because I use "stuff" as my generic word for anything I can't think of the proper term for. Like.. Music stuffs, art stuffs, cute stuffs, funny stuffs.. etc. >>

I also just have a plain "Stuff" folder. But all of my folders are very organized. :3 Especially now that I just got a new computer to play with. The first that is entirely~ my own. <3 I can organize it however I want. (And~ I do. :o)

Yep. Cause if I didn't I would need a map for this PC. And I hate having heaps of icons on the desktop (too bad hubby doesn't feel the same, he had so many icons on the desktop before we reformatted). Plus, I have folders inside of my main folder.

Probably. I noticed a few folder names blurred out, however.

I have way too many stuff folders, spread across many old computers. IT's nasty. I need to stop making them, because they do nothing but serve as dumping grounds for everything I download.
