[12:55] (Dr_Death16); I swear, the word drama needs to be stricken from the dictionary, for I've heard it so many times, it will permanently be imprinted on my brain

The issue isn't whether or not you're high level enough, it's whether or not your gear is good enough to kick sufficient degrees of total ass with. You could beat the game, as Sam said, with level 1 characters. If you have them all equipped with Super Robot Suits or something, you're invincible.

Use the cellphones. That's how I got CoO unlocked. First level itself is a brilliant place to level (provided you get some Enemy Level up bills passed).

First level, there are geo symbols you can hit to reduce the enemies HP to around 100ish, you can throw 2 exp geos on the remaining panels and get to 80-90 that way.

Then there is CoO4.... Oh God, it's like sex in level up form.

See I haven't got through CoO 3 yet. Kinda put it down because of work and other games (read: RE:CVX, Valkyrie Profile 2 and Beatmania hogging time).

Yeah.

I've been really quiet on the boards because I'm addicted. ADDICTED. 70 hours and counting. I unlocked CoO and abused the first level a bunch, and maybe now I can finally get past that stupid story level with the catwalks and archers and mages that were too far away for me to snipe. I'd been owning the story levels up to that point, but I sucked at that one because my mages were weak.

Finally beat it the first time on Tuesday. When I started my second cycle, I reincarnated everyone, and changed the classes of my weaker characters into something I didn't have before. It was great to have my skull be able to still do 1000 damage at level 1.

But I still haven't unlocked CoO yet...

Well, now its just leveling up again, gaining skills, making items stronger, unlocking things I didn't do before, and whatnot.

Good news, though, is that one of my friends is letting me borrow the first Disgaea tomorrow, so that will be my prime concern once I get that.

For the most part, I've been reincarnating as I unlock higher tiers, and I'm on the fourth tier of heavy knight, warrior (male and female), gunner, archer, and thief. I think all the rest are third tier except the skulls, who I haven't reincarnated because I want them to learn their Tera elementals first, and they can't do that on higher tiers. I'm not bothering reincarnating the story characters because, from what I read, there really isn't much of a point unless you're insistent on maxing out everybody. I want to get to ridiculous levels of ownage, but I don't care about the absolute best stats evar!1!! I also read that reincarnating would wipe out the increased counter and movement that I got via the Dark Assembly, and I'd have to spend a few hundred mana to get those back.

It does, but... uh, nothing that a few mana potions can't fix. Well, at least one Mana Potion III.

I've got 43 or so hours in and I'm up to CoO 5. Adell's sitting at 180 or so for the level.

I need to kill Laharl and Flonne.

Their equipment isn't that great, if you got Rank 38 or Rank 39 items for Adell, he could probably kill them.

Haven't played lately though...

Bleh. Damn you people and your super efficient powerleveling and schwag farming. I still can't beat CoO2, but then again, I have gotten a bunch more equipment and levels since the last time I tried. At least I had a run of good geopanel luck in the item world. I was up against an item general 1 1/2 times my level, and she knocked off most of my best Mythril Knight's HP in one hit. So I chucked her on a critical square and shot her. The end. I got through a different tough item general level by standing on invincibility squares and just spamming whatever.

Actually, I noticed that...the only problem I have is that their base stats shoot their HP to something I currently can't handle.

Couple hundred levels more and I could probably take both of them down. But I'm pretty sure I barely have zero-leveled rank 35ish items. I still really haven't taken too much time to level in the item world. I kinda lost that knack when I ran into a Z Pirate.

My fucking god that was horrible.

I'm not sure what rank my items are, but some of them are better than the $6 million stuff the store sells (I haven't passed the final "more expensive stuff" bill yet, so those are the best I can get). Usually I can only get through a few floors at a time, so I've been bouncing between my best items and whatever other good stuff I find during the process. It isn't the fastest process, but it is working for me, and it's fun.

I'm wondering what monsters you guys find useful. I heard great things about wood golems, so I made one (Forest Gump...har har har). I want some flying creature with good area attacks for the item world (Tink is pretty good, but oftentimes he can't traverse an entire level by himself and kick ass along the way), but I'm not sure if I'd rather train a mothman or a holy dragon. Eh...I might as well try both.

Lesse... [digs into 45 hour save]

Adell sitting at 183. 10511 HP. Barely touched item world but I did transmigrate him out the ass over and over. He'd need to be higher if I really think he'd be worth something though. Fists are over 21, of course. Big Bang's as retarded as ever but Rising Dragon, once again, owns.

Rozy at 95 transmigrated several times. Cool. A secondary that doesn't suck with guns.

Hanako at 85 trans'd once. Pretty Bazooka is a kickass 5-panel ranger, I think, but it's her only strong point aside from ++ in magix.

Yukimaru at 82 transmigrated once. Still a swordie. Will get 21 with her.

Okay...now we hit other classes.

Thief at (I think) 3rd tier transmigrate for level 80. Guns <3.

Warrior Lady at 3rd tier at level 78. Spears <3.

Star Mage (3x transmigrate) at 70.

Tink at 68. Meh.

Kittygirl (4x Trans) 4th tier at level 67. She kicks high.

Archer 3rd tier at (4x trans) 60. Has Giga Heal.

Etna at 60. Sorry Et. I swear I'll make you the queen you are.

Tardo at 53.

Star Skull at 53. 3x Trans.

Chaos Soldier at 43. He will own about 100 hours down the road when I unlock Omega Sentinels at level 960.

Empusa at level 34. I will likely get another mage to get all Teras and then transmigrate them into one of these babies just like I did in Disgaea. It worked out fairly well before and there's a way to boost magix with monster weapons now. PASHWEET

Ninja Lady (1x trans) at 30. No good so far.

Magic Knight at 22. Never liked them in Disgaea. In 2, they seem to have half a chance.

Healer (1x trans) sitting at 21. I need to work on her. Badly.

Togabito sitting at 20. Sucks.

Death Dragon (1x trans) sitting at 18. May have potential.

Male Warrior (1x trans) sitting at 16. Worked on my girl more than him.

And there you have it.

...

That's more than three times my entire army.
And I've played 49 hours...

Well, right now my strongest character (or at least the one who can cause the most damage) is my Star Skull. Can do about 2000 damage alone with just Fire. And he could do that damage at level 1.
I have a Theif that used to be a Female Fighter, but wasn't a good fighter. Now she is deadly with a spear.
Acolyte is good. Has basic healing spells and also proficient with a bow. Can defend self with it well.
Adell is about level 45 or so now, but he can do a lot of damage still with his equipment. Need to level up his fists right now to get more of a boost.
Rozalin is about up there with Adell in level, but can't do as much damage. However, Kneel Before Me is an awesome skill I used to beat the final boss to make my damage maximum.
Yukimaru 48, I think. Decent attack, far movement (about as much as Tink, but twice as high of a jump), but lacking on defence and HP...
Taro is 28, but I haven't used him much. I like his attack, and with improvement, it could really be powerful.
Hanako... uhh... 14. Don't use.
Prinny is a 28. Awesome... I guess.
Have a War Slug at 21. Thinking of reincarnating into something useful.
And also have a Geomaster and Magic Knight. Geomaster is cool, Magic Knight... not quite...
Tink is handy and can pack a punch with Nail Bat. Really good bait for pirates so my mage can kill them.

That's about it. Could use more characters for variety...

Ohohooo man, I just unlocked a badass level in the Dark World. Last stage (or the DW for 13-4, Final Decision) has 6 Last Battallions (or 5th Tier Majins) all at level 1000.

Each of them sport about 80K of HP at least and have different weapons each. [takes a look]

Each of them sport around 15K for each stat. They all have very good weapons and they all are sporting the Ultimate Techniques. I guess Doppleganger ISN'T the ultimate for Archers anymore.

Looking at the bonus gauge, I'm drooling. There's some gooood shit here.

The only effect out of this whole map is that you have to clear it within 10 turns. But I think that after you get to a point of wailing on these fuggers, this will be an EXCELLENT level map.

Pushed Adell to 261. I'm able to take out a set of level 400 Death Armies with my crew (Dark World, Castle Gates in Chapter 12). They all have 35K of HP. I can't take them all out at once, but I'm working on that. I can take the majority of them or all of them out in three turns...

...but I have to have the whole crew on it too. :\ Adell can't do it by himself. But it's good to know that I have access to high-level items now...even if Adell isn't even at 9K for attack yet.

Party stats as of now:

Adell - Level 82. Exactly 2900 attack, so he is a powerhouse at that level... I guess.
Rozalin - Level 71. Meh.
Falkner (Warrior) - Level 55. Great backup.
Valen (Star Skull) - Level 110. Can do over 5000 damage on one enemy with just normal Fire. Has all fire and star skills, so he is quite deadly. I won't dare reincarnate him, but I'll create a student for him so he can learn the other magic skills.
Madeline (Acolyte) - Level 51. Still has bow. Starting to get Giga Heal leveled up.
Lisa (Theif) - Level 61. Great hit and run character.
Decravia (Pvt. Prinny) - Level 51. Getting better. Just needs better equipment leveled up.
Yuugo (Warslug) - Level 25. Meh...
Tink - Level 56. Not powerful except with Nail Bat. Heh.
Illusia (Druid) - Level 34...
Christiana (Magic Knight) - Level 31.
Hanako - Level 29. Still don't use.
Taro - Level 31. Need to get him higher.
Yukimaru - Level 57. Farthest mover in my party. Can jump up 60 too.
Barx (Wood Giant) - Level 47. Was a low level, but a trip into a high ranked item world and he skyrocketed.
Carla (Beast Tamer) - Level 24. Possibly going to get good.
Etna - Level 30. Started off at level 1, but then one floor on the item world made her go from 1 to 18 in an instant, so... yeah.

I got up to CoO 3, and I can't go on from there. I could beat the game again, but eh, I'd rather level up now.
And since I typed this post every character's level went up a bit.
