| The end of an era.
Sony are the real villains in all of this. Obviously the legal costs were such that Lik-Sang thought they had a good case and would be OK with a win, but thanks to the loss... bah. I've only ordered from Lik-Sang once but I was impressed by the speed of delivery and the lack of hassles. I know several people who've ordered from there multiple times, and obviously the site's track record speaks for itself if that's the case. It provided a valuable service to gamers and now... :\ RIP Lik-Sang. |

| Yeah, I saw this at another site earlier this morning. I'm not too pleased. I got several good adaptors and stuff from Lik Sang. That and most of the stuff I've seen at Lik Sang can sometimes be quite hard to find elsewhere.
At least there's still Play-Asia for games, but it wouldn't surprise me if Sony kills them too. Congrats Sony, just piss off the world if you will. I'm sure we'll see another similar company rise from the ashes after this, but it still sucks. |

| GRAAAH!!!!! I just found this out when I went to their site. I HAD MY WII PREORDERED FROM THERE! Just my luck. I don't buy often from them, but I was always very satisfied with them when I did. Plus, most of the stuff I buy from there I have no idea if I can find anywhere else. THIS SUCKS! I never liked Sony much to begin with but after this I think I now have a personal vendetta with them. SONY NEEDS TO DIE! URGH! I AM SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!!! Now I have to find another place to preorder my Wii. Ah well, I probably would have ended up paying too much for shipping ordering through them anyway but I don't care. Heck, buying any console at launch is pretty much a ripoff anyway, but I'd like to have SOMETHING for Christmas this year lol. At my house, especially if we want something expensive, we pretty much get one gift, and unless we want it to suck, we pick it out ourselves. So its either buy it at launch so I have it by then, or have a sucky Christmas and wait until God knows when for something it seems I've already been waiting forever for. Ah well, anyone know another place they sell Super Smart Joys? I was about to get another one better for N64 emulation. Plus I just got a friend of mine into emulation and she was about to buy one. And I should add, I know how bad n00bs are around here, and I'm not one of those people who doesn't know how to check Google. In fact I'm pretty good at finding out information on my own, and that's one reason I rarely post here. I'm about to check Google now actually and will probably find a site easily. I just haven't had time to check it yet as I wanted to vent my rage at this first!
Anyway, R.I.P. Lik Sang. You will be sorely missed. May you rise once again like a phoenix from the ashes, and MAY SONY BURN IN HELL!!! /rant |

Well, my point was just that I boycotted Sony for awhile now. Since I'm not depending on Music CD's or DVD's or even any hardware from them it's not really hard. Besides Lik-sang seemed to be a awesome shop, and I really hate it when the big guys stomps down on the small guys. |

| Well it's fine to boycott a company for several reasons but just make sure that you believe in said reasons.
Well, Sony's losing this year for sure (and is nicely set up to lose to Nintendo in Japan through part of 2007 at least) so... Might as well just set themselves up as the bad guys, no harm. |

But personally, I really don't know who else would want to buy the console except ignorant and stupid rich kids who like to show off their expensive new souless toys and think Sony is wonderful. Or if you REALLY can't live without playing certain PS3 games. No offense to anyone if you still want to buy one though of course. Everyone has their reasons. Its just assuming there are good reasons to buy a PS3, I haven't heard any yet. |

I actually had a preordered ps3 but I'm gonna get my money back now. Down with PS3. Maybe we can convince the companies to remake MGS4 and Resistance for XBOX 360. I really wish Square-Enix would boycott Sony. |

All I can see is that Lik-Sang was selling things to people overseas. It's the same as asking a relative in [x] to purchase item [y] for you, and then you pay him for it and he gives you the item. i.e., bullshit |
