Just as long as you put finished hacks and demos in seperate sections.
That's the important part.

Then we might need more hack moderators because it would be required to at least play the hacks before deciding.

One suggestion I thought of for that (to improve efficiency down the line) is for hack mods to be able to "call" testing a hack, so two mods don't both test the same hack and end up wasting time. Just my .02 american cents

However also, we can't just put up with everyone's crap. Some people deserve compassion, and others need to be told to just gfto. If someone is retarded and insists on perstering the crap out of people, then they usually can't be helped and it would be a waste anyone's time to help them, so their situation then just becomes their own problem, and not our's as well.
As for being nice, if someone really just made some mistakes whether or not they were pretty big and the person is generally not a faggot (everyone makes mistakes, even really bad ones), then that's when it's good to make them feel alright about it and that whatever they did isn't a huge prob.
The issure here it seems is that people are thinking a little too much about how they should act towards someone in a situation and ends up doing the opposite because they're trying too hard to do the right thing, so they end up either nearly flamming someone, or making harsh comments when that person didn't do anything too bad, and also putting up with crap from people because they're trying to be too nice.

... Click me.

Anyway, why didn't these problems with stupid people arise years ago? Why is it only now that all of the idiots are arriving on the scene?

well yeah, not to take faggot in a literal manner.

And hmm, maybe the stupid people weren't around much before because this place wasn't as well known. Also, questions that we consider stupid now weren't stupid back then, because we all were pretty new to editing SMW. So that's probably another reason.

lol, I even remember writing a couple tutorials on editing gfx because people really needed the help back then.

Gotta agree with Pac. Anyway, if you choose a moderator, be sure you choose the right persons. I would like to help out SMWCentral in any way I can. I'm not asking to be a moderato over there or whatever, just saying that I wouldn't mind helping you guys.
