FlyFF is basically World of Warcraft except brighter, more cartoony, and more anime. Did I mention it's free? Try it out! It's awesome.

FlyFF is basically World of Warcraft

I have a really hard time believing that.

Oh, and it's not free - it's one of those MMO's that's free to play but you have to pay for the good items.

I guess, but the people who don't buy the "good items" earn other pretty good items by earning them. And it just felt like World of Warcraf to me, but I really havn't played THAT much WoW, so I could be wrong.

Free MMO's have generally felt really cheap to me, or just especially glorified time wasters. Pay to Play MMO's more often are quality services with massive amounts of content to undertake.. By no means am I saying they don't get boring eventually but.. they tend to last years for people.

Free MMO's seem to be a side attraction, something to do when you're bored, as they don't often (if ever) have anything really there to keep you playing for longer sessions than that.. Mind you, I've never played this particular one, but yeah.. From experience that's what I've learned, so I'm with Colin here with the doubt of it being "just like WoW" - which happens to be the most popular MMO out there right now, with millions of customers.

Just try it. If you don't like it, remove it. No harm done.

I downloaded it. For some reason, it won't run on the highest resolution for me; and that isn't even high enough for me. I tried the game out, but the tutorial didn't function properly, so I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I was just killing random things. There was also this person using some tornado move on the birds, but wasn't hurting them...

Edit: Why does my sex keep changing to female? Is someone trying to mess with me?

Maybe they keep changing genders depending on which one that is more common.

Anyway, free MMORPG's could actually compete with pay-to-play MMORPG's although the biggest problem I had with the free MMORPG's is the levelling treadmill they tend to have. :/

Hmm, I might give it a try but I really need more space on my HD first x3
