Oh I already hit a 1200 chain one time in that. I've done better in the original in hitting about 2700 for a chain.

Still trying to nail down the Dark World. I can do one course I've unlocked just fine but the rest of them have issues. There's one that I've found that has a set of 4 guys at level 160 that look like old-style Majins. It looks to be a beautiful level up spot.

On the final chapter, too, btw. Adell's at 72 w/ about 1600 attack (Knuckle Bomber unleveled attacking item).

Really Millenia? I've beaten the game already, I must just have a lot more free time.

Got Adell to 106, breaking 10,000 Attack and 7,000 defense. I pretty much killed the final boss with just Adell.

Then again I got lucky and stole a Testament from...

Some pretty nifty spoilers actually, I suggest you don't read them.

Spoiler:
Laharl has one, I got super lucky and got it with a 1% chance, got the green flashing one too, no idea what it means. When Rozy got powerful all of a sudden (can't put a spoiler tag inside a spoiler tag sadly) He just had a normal one, and I wish I took the time to steal that too.

I've only got about 24 hours on it. Two jobs and an internship don't leave a lot for free time. :\

It sucked me in, and I'm only 4 hours into it.

I was doing so well in the Item World too. Everything was easy until I ran into a level 2 Small Orc (or whatever its name is) and he killed everyone in one hit.

Orcs suck. Orc God attack hurts my head. I've seen it do 40K of damage against several people against level 2500 ones that were weaponless.

I ran into more pirates.

The first time was when I failed the Item World on floor 8 or so because of that Orc, but again, I lucked out against the pirate. He was level 400 or something around there (maybe 1000, I forget) and I didn't lose any of my level 10s. Invincibility Geo Effect for the win. Couldn't even attempt to beat him, though, since I used Adell to destroy a negative Geo Effect and thanks to throwing, was impossible to get him back...

The second time was fast. One hit KO right next to my base.

The Item World is awesome. I am finally understanding the concepts of it. I'm still in Chapter 3 though, but it helps with leveling up.

The game is beatable at level one with good enough equips.

Getting those equips really isn't that hard either.

I had level 1 characters with 80000 ATK with the stuff I had in Disgaea.

So yea...very possible.

I am enjoying the Item World a lot. I have managed to get some good upgrades to my equipment with it and I'm only on Chapter 4. My first Treasure Map had an attack upgrade of about 134 or so. Equipped it on Adell and... well, close to 400 attack power at level 14. Hehehe.

I just need to power up my other characters' items. Characters that should do more damage are really not being used to their maximum potential at this point, since now enemies are loaded with HP... That's not to say my characters are weak, just their equipment.

...oh man, now I'm hooked. This is more strategic than other strategy RPGs I've played.

I'm in the need for some money, and I could pass some of those 500 million HL bills, but I'm thinking that could be overkill. Then again, with every "Better Items" bill the prices just go up and up with the stats.

Figured out that pirate thing. If you collect all, supposedly 16, of the maps from pirates you get to unlock another world.

Dunno what but it's got to have some secret shiz in it...and you just know it's going to take hours to do.

Dood, don't spoil it!

Well, it was spoiled for me. Have the strategy guide and looked at it upside down, which the spoilers are positioned...

Oh well, won't do much for me now. I need to level up a lot of my items...

So I had to give this a shot because it looked like way too much fun for me to ignore...and I'm hooked. I'm not very far (beginning of chapter 5, 20ish hours of gameplay because I've been messing around), but I'm learning how to abuse the system. All I've been doing lately is going through the item worlds of my better accessories. Hooray for vastly improving said accessories while getting a boatload of schwag, money, and experience.

I'm upset.

Today, I decided to go back to the Item World again, this time to level up a Dark Rosary.

I got to the Item Assembly and didn't get an attack upgrade. Oh well, I wasn't so upset.

What upset me was that instead of choosing "Give Up" I chose "Persuade by Force". Game over for me. Considering while there I was able to get 2 Dark Rosarys in a shop.

Dark Roseries suck.

Testaments, Exodus, and Arcadias are the only things worth leveling.

Get Cave of Ordeals going and start power leveling.

Well, I'm only in Chapter 8 and can easily die on the first level. I haven't gotten to the Cave of Ordeals yet, since I am unsure of what level I need to be. I still have some equipment from the beginning on, so I'm behind equipment wise. I haven't even reincarnated yet.

Yeah, I have a lot of work ahead of me...
