Yah I saw that, did they even test the xbox360? What idiots if they didn't. You always test any kind of consoles when they came out. The probably did, but they should of tested it for hour if they didn't allready.

I think i read this on the old board. it was funny.

"Oh, you know, you do know what companies are doing the graphic cards/chips/whatevers to these three new exciting consoles? Well, Xbox360, i heard they're going with ATI, Revo? Ati. oh and what about Ps3? eh? oh yeah, Ati."

Can't remember the exact quote....tough.
In my own personal opinion that is solely my opinion and is only used to express myself, i would like to say that a HD is something i a pretty sure that will be part of the Revo. I mean, "downloadable" n64 games not stored on some "solid" medium? do we have to re-download everything or what?

Graphic-capacity wise, I believe it goes Xbox > GameCube > PS2. One of the most glaring examples of this comes if you compare Soul Calibur II on all 3 systems.

Gave the thread a long-overdue retitle.

Carry on.

Pretty sure he just means regular Gun on the next gen console, Colin.

Only difference is it looks prettier. Game wasn't all that great, either way.

I know he did. It was sarcasm.

Actually, the review I read of it said that it looked worse on the Xbox 360 only because they didn't put a ton of work into the graphics so if you're playing via HD... you notice some glitches.

I'd say it depends on the game. At it's best, I'd say Gamecube looks better than Xbox. On average Xbox looks better though.

Bumping the thread because the Japan launch took place this weekend... and it didn't go so well, as most people predicted. Granted, the hardcores stood in line to get a system or pre-ordered one, but for the most part... not good. Kotaku is reporting that some stores are already slashing prices to the point that if you sign up for an ISP contract, you can get a 360 for roughly $150 American.

...You know, even with shipping costs and taxes and all that, I think some people in America might be better off just importing their 360 at that price. XD

I'm not surprised the launch was met with a lukewarm reaction in Japan but I'm surprised at the price-cutting. MS has some work to do.

This makes the 360's fate in Japan far more humiliating...

I think I read that they sold half as many 360's on the first day as they did Xbox's a few years back.

They're blaming the DOA4 delay.

I don't think any of the console launches are going to be huge. The cost is just too prohibitive.
