Well, the poll speaks for itself. I think I'll be getting the Wii version because it seems ... interesting. Does anyone know of any differences apart from that Link will use his sword with his right hand in the Wii version? Will both games be identical?

And don't forget to vote! (And tell us why you want it for that system)

Well, I said Gamecube, because I'm scraping at the bottom of the barrel just to buy the GC version, and also I would like to play this new epic the way I've always known it, but I will definently try it for the Wii when I get the Wii, but for now it's going to have to be the gamecube version...

Supposedly, due to the fact that Link will be right handed in the Wii version.. they're actually going to mirror the entire world. I don't understand why it was so important to do this, but eh..

Personally, I'm considering to get BOTH because of this. The human brain is not very good recognizing things in reverse order, so you could very easily enjoy the game twice over with it like this.. Regardless of whether I actually get both though, the Wii version is definately my priority.

Wasn't it developed for the GCN first? From personal experiance, when a large corperation makes a port, it's never as good as the original. I've never seen anything otherwise. The larger the corperation, the worse the port will be.

Although TP may break the pattern, I would still rather play it like OOT than with the Wii-mote. It was originally developed that way. That's what I feel the game should be.

This is all a matter of personal opinion and if you enjoy the Wii version more, than have fun with it. I think I'll have just as much fun with the GCN version when it comes out.

Neb, they've had a year to port it over to the Wii.. Also keep in mind, the Wii is being regarded as a "supped up GCN" in terms of hardware.. it would be VERY surpising if this "port" of Twilight Princess didn't come out looking and playing exactly same.

What it really boils down to is the control scheme on the other hand, which is completely user preference and has little to nothing to do with the fact it was ported.. Personally, I think the Wiimote will be a very interesting change of pace. And as I said, with the reversed worlds, there might be merit in getting -both- of them.. Besides, Nintendo has a pretty damn good track record here, so I'd only expect quality service from them by now. (They'd severely disappoint me if they suddenly stopped trying, but I don't expect that to happen anytime soon..)

Well, rent the GC version and th Wii version maybe, or buy both, or whatever. I know I'm used to the traditional 3-Googleplex-button controller arrangement , so perhaps both would be best.

Wii version. Becuse I'm getting a Wii of my own and see no point getting the Gamecube version then. Other than having a diffrent control scheme.

It's going to be great playing them both ways! Even though the same story will be used, it will still be totally different to play them both ways; I'm excited to try both!!

...and maybe they will have a left-handed option guys! Don't feel discouraged yet lefties!! They did it in Mario Golf; I'm sure nintendo would still put that option in there.
