Almost makes me feel like trying it myself. ... Of course, that'd require me getting a picture *hisses at camera*.. and then spriting..

Uhm... yes, it was me, but no, that's unlikely due to the time thing... ie, it takes a bit of that time thing.

I don't care much for the headband in real life either, as it sticks out and makes all my hair look fluffy -- but that's what I get for cutting my hair short last year and now having crap hair. It keeps it out of my face at least, till it gets to a length where I can actually do something with it.

Meh.. I was about to, but then I realized my most recent picture had me in a somewhat goofy pose, got half of my body, and my eyes was staring at the wrong thing (the camera phone I was holding). I don't think that'd do for a good sprite.. Or not.. I don't know.

I just realized that I've never sprited from scratch, only from a base.

I don't know how people can easily find the courage to be in the range of a soul stealing device.

Kirbynite -- spriting without a base is tricky, but not too hard... I'm a bit hit and miss with it. I guess it depends with me a bit how ambitious my sprite thing will be. This was more than most and I sketched it out as well before spriting it.

The second one looks quite good. Is he supposed to be supporting his weight on the ball of his right foot (my perspective)? Because his knee doesn't appear to bend far enough.

No, I just suck at drawing feet. I think actually the foot on the right of the picture is supposed to be about five pixels further back.
