I'm so mad right now... and it was a very good day up till just an hour ago nearly.

So here's why I question this, what is up with people today?
I was going to my bus today, it was raining, I picked up my umbrella and popped it up, and then out of no where as I'm walking along... some dumbass comes up and steals my umbrella, totaling it. I can't use it anymore, it is broken beyond belief, I just seriously wish I had seen the face of this idiot, because I have never been so mad at someone in my life... I mean yeah, most people would say "well it's just an umbrella" but god... who in their right mind steals an umbrella? after they stole it, pranced off in a stupid looking manner, and then messes it up while running, then he drops it, some girl goes "Hey look, an umbrella." and takes it with her, then some kid goes up to her and gets my umbrella back for me, but for what now? now that I was soaking wet, and ready to kill from anger... why is it even worth getting back the broken tool that once kept me dry? I just had to think "gee today is 10 days till my birthday, I finally have talked to some people that I have never talked to in my life and became friends with them, I had a good day in class, nothing could possibly *kid runs up and steals my umbrella*..." I am just pissed off... and seriously, that umbrella has been used for years, and was already messed up, but it was still working properly enough... what are kids being taught today by their no good lousy "I just wanted sex" parents?

This kid obviously has no morals, or atleast thought it would be "funny" I don't recall any laughter, just shock from kids watching me be robbed of my umbrella... what would you say I should do, and what would you have done, and what should I do? if I get a new umbrella and that same dumbass steals it again, I know my mom is going to be more furious than she already will be...

anyways I'm trying to vent my anger, so please discuss this, and talk about your experiences that have been like this.

Beat the snot out of him. Violence solves everything!

...But anyways, don't take that crap from him. If you ever feel it necessary, keep a tight grip on it beforehand, and when he's tugging on the umbrella, kick him in the manhood. He would deserve it for the attempt in the first place.

Something tells me that kid must the the son of a woman who recently sent a letter to my local newpaper. Apparently she is offended when people call her "ma'am." Then again, I'm probably wrong given the fact you probably live nowhere near me.

Well... ma'am is sometimes used sarcastically, so it's hard to tell the circumstances.

Either way, on the umbrella thing... Sounds like an idiotic high-school thing to do. You know the kind. Actually, it's probably the same kind who make "Jackass" possible.

Was he with idiot friends who would have been likely to dare him to do something so stupid?

Otherwise, I really don't get it. Sounds like he has a problem. Be happy you're sane (I think...) An umbrella isn't expensive and you can replace it, but he'll always be a nutcase or a jerk

What's wrong with being a nutcase?

But you should have kicked him in the nuts. Or stabbed him with the umbrella if it was the pointy kind.

Was the umbrella a particularly nice one? I'd still be upset though especially if it was pouring.

I have bad luck. I either lose umbrellas easily or the ones I don't lose break after three uses. And I live in Florida.

There was that crazy jackass, but there was also the kid who got your umbrella back for you. So you know decent people are still out there.

I fully agree that this type of situation is best solved with an overwhelmingly disproportionately violent reaction. Some people need to be taught a lesson they won't soon forget, and for too many people, that lesson is best taught through physical pain. There's a good reason the cane is still legal.

People just do stupid stuff for no dang reason, especially stealing something that anybody can buy. At least nothing worse happened to you. Even though, the thief stole your umbrella and broke it, there's always a saying "what goes around, comes around." Eventually something might happen to him.

Nothing's wrong with being a nutcase -- till you piss off someone for no reason at least.
