I don't know about that, sometimes it is right, and sometimes it is under the ground. Anyone got an idea how I can fix that? It maybe the marquee code.

The link color for the page that you already visited is kind of hard to see and doesn't go well with brown.

Perhaps a different color would be nice.

Earth Luigi-San I agree with what fabio has said above. The regular and hover colours are good though. I tend to never really define a seperate colour for links that are already visited (I just make them the same as regular links) though so I'm not sure what to suggest.

The hover colour is good though.

SuperLuigi64 -- the Luigi marquee is fixed now

Setz -- sometimes I wonder if we should have some little pixel arty thread icons for different types of art, just to make it easier to see at a glance from the thread what things are Little notes for music, a page (which is already a standard) for written work; uh... not sure what for sprite comics something for pixel art and for other art... a paintbrush for drawings and paintings??

Maybe we could have a pixel art competition for some icons Course, using them would be optional....

Yeah. Icons would really help in catergorizing certain types of art.

I'm in support of this thread, just so people can't just post about a layout in every thread just to get posts... usually...

Speaking of contests, we should have another avatar contest.

Hi, did it work?

Edit: How do I make my text black? Permanently.

What problems do you have with your layout? Last you said you needed a black text, but that probably changed in the last days.

So, what do you need for your layout?

(also, my layout needs updating, just I don't know how the new layout should look like)

No... I still don't know how to make my layout have black text.

Also, that picture with Link in the sky.....there is supposed to be some ground underneath him with a monster.

How do I make my layout bigger?....(to show the whole image)

To make your post have black text, just type "[ black]" in your post header, and "[ /color]" in your signature. And don't use the quotation marks or those extra spaces when inserting the codes. That should do the trick.

Untested:
Add this code to the header of the post:
<div style="background-image:url('http://image_path_goes_here')" width=100% height=100%><span style="color:black">

and this to the signature of your post:
</span></div>

and leave Post Background empty.

I noticed... if you know the exact dimensions of your background picture, you can enter those in instead of the '100%' in both width and height.

Otherwise, I need to think of something else, because the same code works for me.

My only addendum to this would be, to make sure your width doesn't exceed 900 or so, and the height shouldn't be too much, maybe 400 px or so, at a guesstimate. Width would probably best be left at 100% IMO but height should be modified to expose more of the image.

The dimensions of the image are:

802 x 341 pixels

Edit: Arg, it still didn't work. I change the "100%" for width and height to these dimensions....

In my opinion it's a bit huge. Since the only way to do that in HTML (with the image not being set to maximum/a set size) doesn't work in Internet Explorer, you should think about getting/requesting another layout.
