Well, I figured it out, and I'm on 5-4 now. 5-3 was a pain.

Welcome the last levels of Yoshi's Island; the most difficult platformer levels pretty much anywhere.

once I tried going through the game without dying once, I got up to 5-6 or something.

Woohoo, my favorite SNES game <3. Been awhile since I last played it through sadly, but I was planning to make a tool-assisted speedrun. x3 Still hadn't done it yet.

Just bought YI for GBA off of Ebay a few days ago to play during my free hour at college. Not very far, but at least I've beat it before and remember most of it. Somehow I'm having trouble in World 2, first castle, with Bigger Boo. I hate these damn ghosts.

Look away from Bigger Boo and bounce eggs of the wall.

Sad thing was, I knew exactly how to beat the boss, but getting there was the problem. Beat it in my first try today, though.

I felt that World 3 was the most annoying (i couldnt stand it!), although Naval Pirhana's Castle was an exception to me. The world i always looked foward to reaching is World 4 (gotta love them koopa troopas!).

I got a perfect score in every single level EXCEPT Items Are Fun. I hate that stage. Easy to beat, impossible to get a perfect score on.

It's not impossible, but once you figure out how to get a perfect score on it, you wonder what the problem was before Check GameFAQs if you really need help on it

Items Are Fun...ah, there was some neat tricks in that level. Such as the whole door-dropping thing into three different rooms. I also liked the fire climb by melting the ice. I don't want to really give to much away for those who haven't played it

Endless World of Yoshis was quite good too, but long. And the falling thorn part near the beginning sucked

I asked this before things happened last night... :\ Since I'm playing through the GBA version now, are the 6 new levels worth it or are they just average?

Definitely worth it Colin. You don't need to get 100 on every level to unlock them either, they unlock after you beat Bowser. They are some of the most creatively designed levels in the game...the 3rd secret level is pretty tough though, you'll see

I always thought the 6th Secret level was the hardest out of the new 6 levels. For some reason, I have a 36 on that level. I forgot what I did to earn that score but it must have been a challenging level if I earned a very crappy score.

2nd worst score for the secret levels was the World 3 with a 67. Not as bad as World 6's secret level but I still consider 67 points failing.
