Anyone every see those "Click here and get a free XBOX 360/Wii/PS3" ads, and actually click on it? If you have you know that you have to sign up for 6 promotional deals (good thing for me the auto loan didn't get approved). Now I assume that this is a scam even though I went through with it anyways, but I was wondering if anyone ever tried one of these, or knows anyone who has. I just want to hear horror stories or whatever for what I just did to myself.

[12:55] (Dr_Death16); I swear, the word drama needs to be stricken from the dictionary, for I've heard it so many times, it will permanently be imprinted on my brain

Well, there was Cymoro and the iPod Conga Line... Apparently, that's one pyramid scheme that actually works.

It works because the site makes money off of all of the ad stuff, and not many people end up completing the deal. Maybe they lose a little money on each iPod given away but they more than make up for it with all the incomplete users.

Cool, here's hoping that they send me the gift code then. It will be quite the letdown if they don't/

Yeah, I made sure of it, and it definitely did get spammed big time, but I have to keep swimming through it all to see if maybe they sent me the code for my "Free" prize. Part of me still thinks that they totally screwed me though.

Well...Yeah. I mean. The PS3 and Wii aren't even out yet. How would they be able to gauge the values and all that jazz on this?

You really can't. The only time I've really gone through these things was to get access to a website or info, like that stupid fake IQ test.

To actually recieve your "prize" for all of the sites like that I've seen, you have to refer 6 other people who also fully complete the process. THAT is where they never end up having to pay out.
