--------------------------------------------- (((((DARKDATA))))) The lady gives you a strange looking smile as you sit down. She then pulls out three potions and puts them on the table. "I see you want to progress," she says calmly. "The only way past me is to solve my riddle. If you guess the answer incorrectly, something...oh so terrible, will happen to you. If you guess correctly, you may pass. However, if you do not know the answer, I will let you walk back the way you came. You can also choose to leave right now if you wish - but I assure you, there is quite a fortune behind me. Do you accept?" (((((RIKU))))) The toilet is very musty and old. Layers of grime and dirt are seen around the inside of it. Inside is something black...shaped like a key!! You immediately realize this is a key to the castle...but the liquid inside looks funny. (((((CIRVANTE))))) You walk through the secret passage. The stone slab slides shut behind you, leaving you in pure darkness. Suddenly, a lantern flickers on, and a strange looking figure is staring at you with huge eyes. It starts to cry, and slumps down on the wall. It turns it's beady eyes to you, and says "Won't you help me?" (((((FABIO))))) turn was missed -------------------------------------------------
@OOC: If fabio misses another turn, we will put the game on hold for a bit. If he does not show up at the thread within 7 days, he will be replaced. Looks like each of your scenarios is getting quite interesting. The tricks and traps have barely begun, so stay on guard

OOC: My internet has been down since Sunday night so that is why I couldn't come here. It's only on temporally for who knows how long so don't be surprised if I disappear again. The cablemen have been working hard trying to get it to work this past week. This week has been total hell so far.

@OOC:  everyone made it!
------------------------------------------------ The halls of the mansion echo with what sounds like tortured screams. The scientist lurks somewhere in the mansion, watching the victims move around. What gruesome death awaits to those who don't escape. A clock chimes 4 times. It is now 4 A.M. ------------------------------------------------- (((((DARKDATA))))) The lady looks as you with pained eyes. Suddenly, she thrusts her hand right through her body. You gasp in horror. "I am not living. I am cursed to haunt this mansion for all eternity. That is all I will say...I will now explain the challenge to you." She moves her hands over top of the three potions, and they all turn clear. She then points a finger at them, and they all float. They spin in a circle so fast you can barely make them out. Then they all fall back onto the table, in a straight line. They are still all see through. "Tell me which potion was the blue one, and drink it. This is your challenge." (((((CIRVANTE))))) The "boy" looks up at you, and wipes a tear from his eye. You notice his hair is quite ruffled. His face then turns into a sophisticated mess, and he lunges at you. Clutching your throat, he sneers "Give me your walkie-talkie. Now. Do not even try to escape, or I will crush all the bones in your neck." You notice a piece of his heart is sticking out - it must be a weak point. (((((FABIO))))) You cautiously walk towards the secret passage on your map. A poorly drawn picture on the wall moves aside. Glimpsing into the tunnel, you can spot a treasure chamber on the far side. (((((RIKU))))) You fill up the glass with the liquid. You can suddenly see a vapor coming from the liquid - it smells like...caramel! As soon as you fill the glass, you pick up the key. You now have a key to one of the doors in the castle! At that moment, the bathroom suddenly seems to get much more clean. ---------------------------------------------------
Lets see here....we have potion-juggling witches, insane little killer children, treasure hordes, and a strange bathroom...yep, you're all in trouble soon

"Curse my kind nature. Somehow, I knew something like this was going to happen... Guh... Let go... Gaaahhh!! "Huh? What's this? A piece of his heart is sticking out... Hmm, this gives me an idea. Hehe. Cirvante reaches for the rusty spoon, still breathless. "Take this, you bastard!!" Cirvante stabs the demon's exposed heart with the rusty spoon. |

There are three potions in the painting - a red one, a yellow one, and a blue one. The red one is in the middle, the yellow one is on the left, and the blue one is on the right. I guess it's the potion on the right then, I wonder will I ever share the same fate? All well what is done is done I can't change the past only move into the future. Before I drink this whatever may happen I have to say "Μάιος η ψυχή που σας είναι σας δικοί. Μάιος εσείς επιλέγει την πορεία σας.(May your soul be your own. May you choose your own path.)" Darkdata drinks the potion |

-------------------------------------------------- (((((FABIO))))) You walk into the tunnel, and the painting slams shut behind you. You can clearly see treasure at the end of this hall...but how safe do you really think it is taking treasure that's basically out in the open? (((((CIRVANTE))))) You thrust the rusty spoon into the demons heart. It lets go of your next, and takes a few steps back. Blood beginds to pour all over the hallway floor. The demon pulls the spoon out, and sneers. "You should have just given it to me, fool!" With that, he vanishes into a cloud of smoke. The door behind you, and the door in front of you now open. New light enters the once forgotten hallway. The bloodstained spoon is now solidified to the ground. (((((RIKU))))) You leave the bathroom to the west, and enter a new hallway. There are candles scattered along the walls...at the end of the hall, you can clearly see a rotting wooden door. The doorknob is, however, on fire. You would most likely singe your hand if you touched it. (((((DARKDATA))))) The old lady smiles at you. "You have chosen correctly. Not only that, you have understood my pain. For this, I leave you one of my most sacred treasures." The lady floats high into the air, and explodes into a colourful light that blinds you momentarily. As soon as you regain vision, the room is empty. The door at the end of the hall is now open. On the ground in front of you is an amulet. You hear the scientists voice all of a sudden. "Saving spirits of the mansion now, are we? EHEHEHEHE! Fool! They are dead! They are useless to you! Did you even go to school? The dead cannot live! AHAHAHAH!" ------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------- (((((DARKDATA))))) As you pick up the amulet, you feel a surge of electricity shoot through you. You fall into a slumber. While you are down, you hear the old lady's voice in your head. "When you wake up, wear the amulet. It will protect you from the one called...Igor." With that, you eyes snap open, and the amulet is attached to your chest. (((((RIKU))))) You pour the glass of liquid over the fire. The fires extinguish, and the doorknob looks very hot. You might want to wait for it to cool, or risk burning your hand. (((((FABIO))))) You walk inside the treasure-filled room. Hordes of gold, jewels, diamonds are everywhere. There is a huge mountain of gold in the middle of the room, and directly on top of it, you can see a castle key. The gold would be too slick to climb though. (((((CIRVANTE))))) You exit the passage, and enter a new room. It appears to be a bedroom. There is a bunk-bed in the southwest corner of the room, with a rune-embroidered tome on it. There is a dresser next to the bed with various items on it. On the east end of the room, right near you, is a closet. Also, sitting in the northeast corner, appearing to be a small kitten, staring at you with blank eyes. ----------------------------------------------

| Cirvante enters what appears to be an old bedroom. Atop the stylish wooden bunk bed lies a rune-embroidered spellbook. Beside the bed is a drawer, its contents unknown. Near the entrance is a closet, and in a corner lies a small kitty, staring blankly at him.
"What to do... That spellbook looks interesting, but the bed could fall on me right as I try to pick it up. And something isn't right about that kitty. I doubt it's another Doppelganger, though." The cat's eyes suddenly shifted towards the spellbook, then back to Cirvante. "Are the cat and the spellbook connected? Is the cat the owner of the book? Hmm... Something's definitely going on here. But for now, I better check that drawer." Cirvante checks the drawer. |
